The Alley

Stayed in a private room. Felt like a hotel, very clean. The room smelled a bit musty and damp, but I feel like that is the norm with most hostels I have stayed at in Vietnam so nothing bad, just be aware of it. Reception very nice and helpful. No place to hang out but they had a fridge, microwave and kettle available to use near reception which was nice.

Hostel has a good location, in down town, close to the beach, there's a lot of restaurants near by. Since it's located in a small street, there's no outside noise in the room. A/C was strong, room and bathroom were cleaned daily, a bit low shower pressure on the 2nd floor. There's no "common area" besides the balcony in the corridor on each floor and directly in front of the main entrance, but people smoke there all the time. Just next door there's a hotel full of Russians.

Right in the heart of the action, modern building but no lift. plenty of restaurants on your doorstep, rooms ultra clean, beds comfy, admittedly no social area but depends what you’re after. Beach around the corner literally. Big thanks to Dao, mega friendly and really helpful. ( hope family are well) Would definitely stay again. Bahn mi and juice bar 20m away. Laundry across the road. Couldn’t really fault it. If your party hosteled out, this is the place for you. Great value for money.

Nice property right near the beach for cheap. Very pushy about the scuba excursions.

Friendly, efficient front desk. Has a kitchen, rooms well appointed and very clean. Will stay again.

I loved this hostel. I was unwell whilst here so I didn’t get to venture out much but the staff were amazing. The lady at the front greeted me by name and checked in on me making sure I was okay. The location is wonderful with a delish banh mi and smoothie place just outside, beds comfy was easy to find. Would defo stay again

Enjoyed my stay, it was only for one night but the staff was helpful when I get there and when I left, gave great recommendations as where to go while in Nha Trang, and great spot close to the beach for a good sunrise/sunstet experience

Fantastic place to stay! The staff were excellent, really friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, close to the beach with lots of places to eat and things to do nearby. The room was very comfortable and really quiet. Highly recommend.

Excellent place to stay. Close to the beach, restaurants and the staff were helpful and friendly. It’s located on an alley so it’s quieter than the street. I stayed two nights but would certainly have stayed longer. One hour walk to the Po Nagar temples, along the beach mostly.

Lovely hostel with comfortable and clean dorms. Doesn’t have a large social area, but still possible to sit downstairs/outside and chat.

Super lovely staff, close to the beach and next to good food spots too. Not social at all but really nice if you want a quiet base point

Great location and nothing to complain about. I was travelling with a partner so We had a private room. I don't think it has any social atmosphere for solo travellers so if your in need of finding friends I'd consider somewhere. Some staff are more friendly than others but the lady who was friendly was very nice and helpful and helped us with a local bus to a national park ten hours away. My only advice would be to avoid to snorkeling experience they offer. It's a tourist trap.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Alley, the location is brilliant only a short walk from the beach! The staff were always friendly and helpful, they booked us a bus to Da Lat which picked us up from the hostel. There is also a delicious Banh Mi & Smoothie place just outside! Would highly recommend

Quiet hostel in the city center (you won’t meet much people here), unfortunately the water was barely warm in the shower and the toilet was leaking (bookee a private room)

Super clean! They also clean the room every morning. The staff is friendly, helpful, not pushing, fluent in English. It is next to a main street so there's music from adjacent bars but not too loud and not until late. Highly recommend this place!
