Merakai Hostel Rincon del Mar

Das Hostel war sauber und direkt am Strand gelegen, jedoch wollte sie bei der Ankunft mehr verlangen als Hostelworld ausgeschrieben hat. Nach kurzer Diskussion haben wir den Preis von Hostelworld bezahlt. Das Personal war sehr unfreundlich und nicht wirklich hilfsbereit. Das Hostel ist weniger Social. Wir sind nach einer Nacht gewechselt.

The hostel was really nice and comfortable and really clean. Rooms are spacious and pretty. There is nothing to complain about :).

Great place to stay in Rincon del Mar. When I was there, the neighborhood was very loud with music, which prompted me to leave. I think it was because of some local festival though.

Okay. Didn’t really have any atmosphere. The staff is not very helpful too. I had questions about tours but just got one word answers.

Really nice hostel with some good spaces. Wouldn’t advise working remotely here if you have lots of meetings as the terrace that they have as a working space has lots of noise from the street and the music playing during the day. I was also a bit disappointed with the laundry service the hostel recommended as one of my tops somehow got bleached and was unwearable. However, when I asked her what happened, she just walked away and didn’t apologise or explain. The staff didn’t really help e...

Lovely clean and comfortable hostel. The beach location is amazing. Great cooking facilities, hammocks and rooftop to take in the sunset. I'd add a privacy curtain, a shelf and a small light to the dorm beds to make them a bit more private and cozy, but I'd happily return here

Hôtel bien placé au centre de la plage, avec l’accès à une cuisine. Rien de négatif à souligner. Chouette accueil de la part de Juan. Cela reste fort cher par rapport aux prestations…

Really clean, lovely hotel, right on the beach. Good facilities and lovely, helpful staff. The dorm was extremely quiet, which can be hard to find in Rincon. Lacking in atmosphere as more of a hotel than hostel. Too expensive for what it is, but worth it if cheaper options are fully booked.
