very kind and super helpful staff highly recommended
Its okay to stay for a night or two
Not a big or social hostel. Price wasn’t bad though. Dorms are okay, but you have to ask for toilet paper and their is no soap.
good stuff and good place, but the restroom are dirty
I feel bad writing this because the owner was very lovely but the dorm was probably the dirtiest I’ve stayed in unfortunately:( we stayed two nights and had cockroaches in our room, ants in the beds and there were cobwebs everywhere. The bathroom also smelled super weird and wasn’t cleaned once during our stay. The owner mentioned that there had been rats a week prior and we heard them during the night which didn’t feel great.
It’s great for a last minute stay, although facilities need improving (e.g., air conditioning and showering).
Rats came into the room in the evening. Dead ants on all the beds. Bathrooms stunk of sewage. Location was great- right next to all the main shops. Staff were lovely.
amazing and helpful staff, dorm was so cheap and perfect for what for a quick stay. staff said this is one of the oldest guesthouses in El Nido, with facilities to match. it's not perfect but the bathrooms are good for what you need them for, a shower and to go bathroom. if you are not expecting luxury and want an in town local experience, stay here. location is unbeatable.
Good location, kind staff, clean and good internet connection.
Great location near port, staff has difficulties speaking English. The worst is the hygiene - I had ants in my bed, there were many cocroaches climing the walls, we killed 2. There is no daily cleaning of the rooms or taking out the trash from the bins. There is only cold shower and non-drinkable water everywhere. On toilets, there is no toilet paper. The lamp in my bed was not working, the electiricity sockets were pretty old and hardly working. Not working AC, only made noise and not cold.
Nice and helpful staff. Room and bathroom was not very clean.
Stayed in the 14 bed dorm which isn't too bad due to the layout. However the bathrooms are in dire need of renovation and even with the staff cleaning them there's a smell of urine which fills up the bedroom. There was often no toilet paper in them either. Staff were lovely, the location is good and there's cute dogs. Overall average value for money but it's a bed to sleep in while you spend your day exploring El Nido.
Really kind and helpful staff!
Really friendly staff, good location and a locker for your valuable things. Only thing that bothered me was a noisy machine at night, not sure if it was the AC. Nothing though that earplugs can't fix. Big room (14 bed dorm) with two toilets and a big shower +curtains on the bed for privacy :)
il dormitorioè piccolo per 12 letti con soli 2 bagni...l aria condizionata è rumorosissima ..nel complesso pessimo
No toilet paper. And in shared rooms, bathrooms are inside which is not a good idea. But bunk beds are decent. And location good
Kind and friendly staff! Cute place.
This is a good place to come if you're fed up of the never ending party hostels! This is a quiet hostel in the centre of town with other nice travellers, it's quite and calm and great location, away from the busy streets but easy access to town.
Only good to stay sleeping. Curtains don’t hide every part of the bed, AC does a lot of noise, the dorm smells bad sometimes and I saw some bugs. The fact that the hostel is in El Nido justifies the price but 500PHP a night is a lot compared to what we can have in Philippines for better quality.
