Wisdom Forest Yoga Lodge

thank you very much for these shared moments, a really very pleasant stay in the middle of the Amazon forest. The view from the room was just magical, a huge bay window overlooking the forest for a perfect wake-up call. In short, I fully recommend (without forgetting the delicious vegetarian cuisine 😍 a discovery for me)

The price on the website we booked was not correct, according to owner. The cost was 2x what we expected. We booked 2 nights and stayed only one. The location was on a hillside with no access to any trails or walks. The garden was nice and the staff was very attentive and friendly. The dinner was OK, but nothing special. Vegetarian soup. The lodge is really beautiful surrounded by nature, but we stayed at the same house as the volunteers and we constantly felt like imposing, it felt like we were strangers in someone else's home. They clearly gave us the feeling that we were not welcome there. There was a lot of confusion they constantly changed there. You couldn't rely on information, for example they send us one price for the room via WhatsApp and later on they wanted more. It's a pity for this beautiful place.

I felt very welcomed from all the people there and their offered my a really great programm of activities including yoga, a trip in the forest with waterfalls and a really recommended massage. The atmosphere and the the view is really like you are directly in the forest. Breakfast and dinner have been delicious and I love, that everything is vegetarian.

I couldn't recommend Wisdom Forest Lodge more! We had the most wonderful stay here - the place is gorgeous, peaceful, & like a treehouse in the middle of the Amazon. The dorm rooms felt luxurious & very affordable. The food is all homemade and breakfast was included and delicious. There is a natural pool on the property to swim in, lots of hammocks, yoga spaces, and the cutest hostel cat. Staff was friendly & helpful. Truly the best hostel I've ever stayed at - the pictures don't do it justice!!

I had an amazing stay at Wisdom Forest.. the vegetarian food was delicious and I took a yoga class overlooking the rainforest which was a unique experience! There is also a natural pool in the forest which I had all to myself.. and a cool little Maloka where you can have a bonfire at night.. staff are super cool and welcoming.. they also organize cool trips to the local waterfalls and I recommend the chocolate workshop too!!!
