Really nice hostel. The dorms were pretty basic, but the garden and lounge are absolutely lovely! Really easy to meet nice people as well. Would definitely go back!

Very disappointed in the property. there was cockroaches in the rooms, kitchen had lots of bugs, and there was a hairy but balding man who was playing video games and sleeping 24/7 at the kitchen table. Majority of the people there were living there for accommodation and not very nice. better off staying in a clean hotel for the price.

Its one of the best place to stay in Wollongong. If traveling solo and looking for a clean, cheap and well behaves staff based stay, I fully recommend to choose this option as it located at a very calm and easy to access (markets, mall, bus, beach) locations within 1kms range.

Nice hostel, Staff where really friendly and they had cute dogs.

A well located hostel close to the beach and the town centre. The hostel facilities were clean. There are dogs which guests should be aware of, but these were largely kept in the staff quarters.

Spacious, warm energy, staff and travelers were all very friendly and accommodating. Amazing value for the price!

Disappointed to find bathrooms were unclean both the day of arrival and morning after. In addition, hot water was inconsistent in the showers. Bedroom was of a good standard just had a very squeaky bunk bed. However good location for the area and very helpful man behind reception.

pros: -adorable dogs wandering around that are super sweet. -really close to coles/woolies -only a bus ride away from the 2 train stations -beds were quite comfortable//cons: -place always smelled of vape. -saw some small cockroaches in the kitchen.

It's an old school backpacker hostel. It's not pristine, but that was fine. The place has lots of character. People were generally nice and staff was nice too. However, there's no quiet hours specified or respected. There's loud music and noisy socializing and partying in the common area, which was right outside my window, for all hours of the night. It went on until 3 or 4am every night. If you want to keep normal hours and you value sleep, this is absolutely NOT the place. Find somewhere else.

Location is great for those of us doing the triathlon and running races on the waterfront Charming old building with various quirky and interesting features not seen in sterile modern day buildings. My only problem was with a foreign guest who smoked inside and caused me to suffer from a nasty asthma/respiratory attack. Maybe No smoking/No vaping signs could have prevented this, but I feel that he would have ignored them or not understood them anyway! So this was actually MY problem-

It had all the facilities at a great price.

This place is hard to rate, it's very clean and beautifully decorated, and the overall vibe is very nice. However, there are SO many volunteers and they weren't very welcoming, so it kind of felt like you were intruding into their space. I was hoping to make friends and meet cool other travelers and it didn't really work out that way unfortunately.
