Good location, friendly staff and decent facilities.

Great location for getting the bus to Mount Kinabalu. Food market and shops nearby, close to the sea front. Everything you need on your doorstep. Very secure though have to wait to be let in each time which might not be the quickest. Rooms with aircon. Communal space is good to sit but no aircon. Free breakfast is great to start the day with! Washing machine free to use

clean & very pretty common area

Hostel centrally located, with simple breakfast (instant noodles, toast) and simple facilities. A plus is the free TV, water refill and location. On the negative side, we got put into the wrong (cheaper) room until noticing their mistake and getting moved into our booked room, however without refund or apology. The shower stopped working midway through shower due to low water pressure. Also super noisy music from a public run 4-8 am, as loud as a concert. A warning would have been appreciated

Great small simple place.

It’s been a while since I left Akinabalu, I stayed in the hostel for almost month so yeah, I pretty recommend the stay! Thanks for everything Staff was amazing and very kind 💗

Perfect. Great chilling space and breakfast, amazing room (I stayed in the private with window) and good staff. Nothing to point out. Best showers I had on Malaysia so far!

Loved this hostel when traveling around Sabah. It’s very clean, room was comfy with Air-Con, free Netflix, books, hot shower, great location and free breakfast. Best of all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Ended up using this as my base in Sabah and came back four times! Thank you (especially M.A. 😅)

Ik had een drie-persoonskamer geboekt en deze was vrij krap. Verder zat de achterkant van het hostel aan een drukke weg en zaten er geen ramen in de badkamer en ook was je douch niet geheel afgesloten van de badkamer. Hierdoor kon je als je onder de douch stond het verkeer langs horen razen alsof het op 2 meter afstand gebeurde. Dit vond ik vreselijk irritant en werkte niet echt ontspannen.

Free breakfast! Good location and value for money. Showers & toilets are outside so it is very hot! Not so much of a social atmosphere but maybe it depends when you go.

I stayed here twice during my stay in Borneo. It was a great location, really quiet, clean and felt safe. Lots of big and airy space to read a book in and the staff are so helpful. It's not a particularly social hostel which was fine for what I needed, but that's the only potential downside! Thank you so much!

Staff really nice. I booked a private room which I felt was slightly overpriced I just needed to be somewhere close to the location. Bed was comfy though and showers were clean. The breakfast supplied was good too. Very little atmosphere when I was there but could have just been the days I was staying.

loved our stay here, right on Gaya street for the weekend night market, plus the Sunday morning market! we moved from another hostel to here and thiswas the best location 100%. the staff are nice and theres lots of games out and netflix you can use. it was a nice relaxed atmosphere!! the breakfast is just toast or instant noodles with 1 boiled egg but it does a job

I love this hostel! What a pleasant stay. Perfect location, privet beds with curtains, very affordable price. What more can you ask for? Very chill and laid back, not party vibes. But right on the street for the night market. So cool, I will be back!

Nos negaron la diferencia de precio, afirmando falsamente que costaban lo mismo. No avisaron del cambio; dijeron que enviaron un correo y que si no me llegó era mi problema. Great location, friendly staff, clean and has a fridge in the kitchen. The free breakfast is simple but great to have. And the house cat was so sweet. Would stay here again :)

The breakfast should have little bit more choices of food that is so simple. Let guests have the availability to apply for the computer a while in case of need.
