Loved this hostel so clean and bed are comfy & Juárez is such a great neighbourhood. Staff were so nice too
The staff are super friendly and helpful! Sky, Jorge, and Juanita were great. The internet is super fast. I stayed in a private room and it was perfect for getting some work done. The bed was firm, but comfy, shower was super hot. I would stay here again!
Jorgé and the team were grat, very helpful and easy to talk to. The Hostel is located in a nice, safe and walkable area. There are coffee shops, a 7/11 and a bike station just up front. The terrace is super nice and a calm place to return home to. Also the beds are very comfortable and private.
I don’t know which photos they use for the listing, but the rooms look nothing like them in person. The bathrooms were constantly filthy and the trash cans (where you need to put dirty toilet paper) were always overflowing. The shower stalls were dirty and there’s mold on the ceiling above them. The “welcome drink” at the bar is non existent, so you have to go to their sister Hostal. I originally booked for 5 nights and left after 3 nights in search of something more suitable
Avoid this hostel! It wasn't clean at all. They maximized the space by cramming in as many beds as possible. I stayed in a 6-bed female dorm and there wasn't enough room for travellers to store their belongings. There are no toilets on the same floor, the atmosphere is non-existent, and the staff are unfriendly
Muy buena ubicación. Personal muy agradable y simpático.
i freaking love juarez, so, i really enjoyed being in this part of the city for about 8 days. the kitchen is a pretty solid bummer, as i'm sure other reviewers have noted (i.e. the stove is super super old, like be prepared for cooking to take a million years and theres not really a great system for storing dry food & labeling) but sleep-wise i felt incredibly comfy. SO to skye & jorge on the staff - out of everyone, they both are core to the positive vibes!
Wouldn’t stay here again. Staff doesn’t seem to have any proper training. One of my roomies warned me to check if my bed sheets had been changed, because she saw the receptionist sleep there and just walk out the next morning. The receptionist assured me they had changed them but I still found a couple hairs 🤢 Also, fabric towels for hand drying on the bathrooms is disgusting. Another big turn off is that rooms don’t lock and it’s not a social hostel. And the top locker was hard to re...
lugar muy bonito, el metro queda cerca. el ambiente es tranquilo, si quieren conocer gente no es el ideal
THEE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!! Jorge, Tula and Sky made me feel so welcomed!!! The location is top tier — genuinely, I was so sad to leave Juárez (which is just a way cooler version of condessa) I MISS YALL ALREADY 😭😭
I stayed at Hostal Juarez for a week with a friend. We stayed in the 6-person female dorm. For most of the trip we were alone in the dorm. The bedding was clean and comfortable. We really liked the capsule style bunks which afforded a lot of privacy as well as the personal fans and reading lights. We loved the neighborhood and the hostel was small and quiet with chill activities offered every evening. I had no trouble with hostel partying or noise. The staff were helpful.
This hostel goes up to 11
Great hostel and location! The beds are super cozy and private but big enough to not feel claustrophobic at all. Room was super clean and the staff really sweet. The atmosphere, at least during my stay, was very calm and quiet. My only issue was the kitchen, it’s well equipped but the stovetop doesn’t reach a very high temperature so quick meals like pan-fry gnocchi or sautéed veggies easily take 45+ minutes. But if you don’t mind this or don’t need a kitchen I’d absolutely recommend ...
I had a wonderful time staying at Juarez! We stayed in a 4 bed room and the bed was comfortable and spacious plus the room had a huge window with great light. The bathrooms were decent, things were kept pretty clean. But truthfully, the atmosphere was the best! The people were amazing. Every volunteer and staff member was kind and accommodating. They made it feel like a home! One of the best parts was the art nights with Kati while I was there! I hope to come back!
Clean, quiet, chill, small hostel. Great for remote workers.
Hostel was fine but it’s pretty expensive. There were old contact lenses and hair down the side of my mattress and the bathroom was very cramped and far from my room
Just an okay hostel The bathroom facilities left a lot to be desired. There wasn’t a good place for women to get ready in the morning. For that reason I only stayed 1 night. Staff were super kind. Location is also great, feels super safe and more authentic compared to Roma Norte or condesa.
Very clean, nice beds and good facilities. Would highly recommend for people who want a chill stay in a good area with a healthy amount of nightlife. Special mentions to Tuula, Sophia, Claudia, Cat and especially Juanita! (The goat)
Cold and impersonal. Volunteer staff were horrible - more interested in socializing and flirting than in doing their jobs. Toilet stalls incredibly small, and as near as I could tell, there were 3 toilets and 3 shower stalls for perhaps 50 guests. It wasn't full, for which I was glad. Kitchen area not clean at all - guests leave dirty stuff piled up everywhere. No social activities at all and very limited common space.
Insgesamt sehr solides Hostel in CDMX! Positiv: sehr sauber, gute Lage, gutes WLAN, ruhige Dorms, bequeme Betten Negativ: nicht so sozial, Lockers sind ziemlich klein
