I went to check in after a long travel day and the minute I walked in I felt the negative vibes. A gentleman with glasses was there to help me check in and he was so rude. I asked him if I can leave my luggage and he pointed to a door and just nudged. No eye contact, just rude. No conversation, no greeting. I booked for two nights, but the way he made me feel as a solo female traveler made me so uncomfortable I left and booked another hostel. After 30 countries this was my first bad experience
Loved my stay here - really great social vibes, fun activities etc. very central so close to museums, gallery’s - good for exploring - overall had a wonderful time!
Great hostel! Would recommend to anyone visiting the city.
Amazing stay! Fun events and people every day, great location, great vibes.
We were in private double with bathroom. Not very clean, stains on the sheets, hair and dirt on the floors, and the room had a musty odor likely bc there wasn’t AC. While they do have a fan, there aren’t windows or vents so the air didn’t circulate so it was really hot in the room. Our hot water only worked once the entire stay. The common area very pretty though! Walking distance to centro activities but VERY hard to get uber/taxi (waited 45 mins once) as traffic is the worst in that a...
El personal fue super amable
Very good. Social. Fun vibe and good location
Amazing stay as always! Claudia & Anna Paula were super helpful & the atmosphere was great! Location was super central and easy to move around.
Great place and location
Loved my stay at Viajero. Great location and good to meet other travellers. They organise allot of activities They have good brekkie options too.
Central location is handy for during the day but area is sketchy at night. Most activities we enquired about weren’t on or were on different days to what was advertised. Bar area is under construction (there is still a bar) but this negatively impacts social aspect of the hostel. Bathrooms in the dorms don’t look like they’ve been cleaned in a while but the shared bathrooms are kept super clean. WiFi is awful! Never works.
I am generally really forgiving for hostels because I understand the premise of you get what you pay for, but this was the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed at. It was so dirty, they don’t give you blankets, they are only given upon request. It is LOUD, until very late at night. The staff was not the kindest, I went to rent a towel and you had to pay almost 8usd. Which is fine, but then you had to give them a form of ID to prove you would bring the towel back, which felt crazy to me.
Easily my favorite hostel in the area, the people really make a difference. Staff are amazing and travelers were diverse from all parts of the world. Located on a side street so you wont get street noise and they have daily activities to meet people. Going back soon!
Impresionante
Viajero in Mexico city is always a wonderful trip
As usual with Viajero, the stay was awesome! great location close to everything, great daily activities, reasonable prices and for drinks and food, and very social to make friends! Shout-out to Ale ("the morning worker" 😁) that was very friendly and helped me a lot with info on what to do, which made the stay even more awesome :) will definitely come back when in CDMX
Auberge super accueillante, dynamique, festive. 100% ce que l'on recherche pour rencontrer des gens, passer un bon moment et en même temps, découvrir la culture mexicaine! :)
Good location if looking to do museums and explore centro area. Room was quiet. Good social atmosphere with daily events hosted by the hostel. Staff was nice and accommodating. Everyone seems happy here. Hostel has security gate. No rooftop but nice courtyard that is social. Restaurant with good food and drinks. Reasonable prices. Had a great time overall!
Absolutely fantastic! Comfy beds, nice kitchen, clean bathrooms. Lots of social stuff going on, but not too much that you can’t find a moment to yourself. It’s worth noting that the location in the city center might not be for everybody — if you are looking for a quieter neighborhood, you’ll want to look at some spots further out. I’d just recommend doing your research first on what vibe you’d prefer to spend the most time in. But overall, this place was great value for the cost and ...
The staff was really great and it has a super fun atmosphere and activities! Would recommend!
