Hostal Roma Condesa

Such a beautiful atmosphere with beautiful people. Feels very homey . The people here are so kind and the place is beautiful and well kept. It’s within walking distance of soo many places. Great spot to be at. Really nice area as well. I felt very safe here. This is my favorite hostal by far .

The strangest thing about this place is the self check in. Someone else let me in to a place where a sign told me to scan a QR code to check in. I scanned and I was told “QR code no longer valid”. Odd… and frustrating. Why do this if it does not work? Just cross out the QR code and have people WhatsApp you. The location is great, the bed comfortable and a great roof hangout area.

It’s ok, but it’s not worth the price

Great location and chill spot. The whole situation with the owner was odd, it was hard to get a hold of him, had to spam him through Whatsapp to get assistance with checking in, he was definitely not too friendly also. The place itself was great, It’s just the whole thing with the owner kinda weird, I wasn’t the only one experiencing this either.

The only thing I didn´t like was that the bunk beds had curtains which creates no social environment! everyone closes the curtains so everyone is in their own world in the room, no chance to socialize, meet new friends. It doesn´t feel like a Hostel! It takes away one of the main characteristic about a Hostel! They should remove the curtains! Everything else was great, very clean hostel, nice facilities and very good location!

L’équipe sur place est très accueillante, le quartier est plutôt agréable et très mignon. Chambre propre et confort, c’est la première fois qu’on me donne une serviette en auberge 😍. Seul bémol : le bruit ! Dans la chambre mais j’ai finis par comprendre que c’était pareille ailleurs . Bienvenidos a México city .

The hostal is located in a great spot, right around the corner is a lovely cafe and molletin place. The staff are friendly and fast to action - I had a bit of a situation where I didn’t feel safe and after messaging them they responded and helped within minutes. It is not a very active or social hostal and my bigger backpack did not fit into my locker - as a backpacker that is important to know.

ok place to stay if you are on a tight budget. No real social atmosphere here and the downstairs common area is pretty bleak. The roof area is not bad, when it's not raining. Private room upstairs was big enough to fit 2 beds that's it. Mosquitos can be a real problem in the upstairs area

One of the worst hostel experiences. The room smelled terrible, the guy next to me was on loud calls past midnight, and when I politely asked him to stop, he verbally abused me for an hour—calling me names and acting unstable. No staff was around to help. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely unsafe. No rules, no checks, no support. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Great place to spend a week in Mexico City! Got a private room and it was spacious, clean, included towels. Within walking distance to great restaurants and bars, and in a nice neighborhood. The bathroom was shared and never had an issue with it, except the water gets too hot sometimes. Overall would stay here again!

Stayed in the shared 8-bed room on the roof. Staff mostly work virtually so it's self check-in - ask for instructions ahead of time. Not much of a social scene. Reliable hot water but toilets frequently clogged. Lots of mosquitoes at night as window is left open due to lack of AC/fans. Unclear if staff change the bed sheets - I saw them just spray a bed with a cleaner after someone left. Great location though, very safe and lots of food/drinks/parks nearby.

Not a bad option just the rooms were quite hot so the windows were open and I got eaten alive by mosquitoes while I slept. They need to put screens on the windows. Staff was nice bathrooms were clean, fairly affordable but the mosquitoes really negatively impacted my experience.

I letti a castello e la porta del dormitorio sono rumorosi. C'è poco spazio per mettere le proprie cose in sicurezza. La cucina e i bagni non sono molti puliti e la struttura è abbastanza disordinata.

The owner and the stuff are soo friendly, nice and helpful! Room, rooftop and bathrooms are clean and nice. Location is also really good!

Cet hostal est juste incroyable, sur le rooftop vous vous retrouverez au soleil au beau milieu des chants des oiseaux et des écureuils, assez fou quand on est au coeur de Mexico. Camilo est un hôte au grand cœur et fera tout pour vous arranger. Je me suis tout simplement sentie comme à la maison 🧡

Great Hostel in a perfect location to explore Condesa and Roma. The shared room was quiet and the hostel was very calm in general.
