I cannot say enough great things about this place!!! It is a little bit away from the one downtown street Caracoles, but the staff are BEYOND helpful; they will give you so much information on how to navigate the town, tours, travel needs, and hold super fun events at the hostel a couple nights a week. Everything is clean, and you meet so many different travelers who are navigating their own journey through South America - if you're going to San Pedro de Atacama, choose Backpackers!!!

Great hostel. Very social and i love the pisco sour making class.well-equipped kitchen too.only issues is 1 toilet in the bathroom between 8 people! made it hard to use the toilet when people were constantly using the shower in the evenings.

This hostel is rated highly but unfortunately doesn’t live up to expectations and is very overpriced for what it is. There was little social atmosphere, all of the beds creek and you can hear people waking up early (4/5am) for excursions every day so we didn’t sleep well here. The facilities were clean, location is good and the staff were friendly but this is all it had to offer. I felt disappointed I was asked to leave a 10/10 review when checking out, which doesn’t help the hostel to imp...

Nous sommes déçus de notre séjour ici. Cet hostel ne mérite pas cette note sur hostelword. C’est trop cher en comparaison à d’autres hostels que nous avons fait à San Pedro et qui étaient objectivement mieux. Les lits en dortoirs sont terribles et font un bruit énorme. La dame de l’accueil quant à elle est très gentille et le personnel de ménage assure. Cependant, aucune ambiance dans cet hostel et les prix ne sont pas légitimes.

Une prise par chambre, pas de rideau, pas de lumière par lit

I had a great stay here, and one of the most sociable/ friendly hostels I have stayed in as a solo traveller 24F. The outdoor space is nice and there were people sat there chatting every evening, and this is helped by the free events they put on like pisco sour making. Rooms are decent enough for the price you pay. Overall good value.

Really cute, small hostel in San Pedro. The introduction on arrival with all the activities to do in town and the tours was extremely helpful. Hostel is very clean and plenty of kitchen space. Only issue I had was that sometimes the showers were cold, but otherwise a great stay.

Lovely spot in San Pedro! It was clean, the people working there were all super nice and helpful, and the location is a quick walk to the center without being noisy. People tend to be out doing tours during the day, so at first I wasn’t sure it would be social but it felt very friendly as people returned from tours :)

Très bel accueil, l’espace commun facilite les échanges comme les activités proposées et le catalogues de tours. Les chambres sont cependant petites vu le prix, mais c’est propre et il y a tout le nécessaire en cuisine, on ne se marche pas dessus chaque maisonnette à sa propre cuisine

Relaxing oasis 10 mins from town. Staff are friendly and can book tours directly with the hostel (cheaper to agencies). Host free Pisco sour and wine nights. Multiple kitchens to use. Rooms can get stuff, have to sleep with door open. The door also weirdly locked from the inside which I meant I was woken up twice one night to my roomies trying to get into the room.

The hostel is priced way too expensive for what it is. The dorm rooms are tiny and have zero air circulation so they get hot, stuffy and stinky quickly. The beds were very uncomfortable and fragile with the whole bunk shaking if one person moves at all. A lot of talk about how the staff will make you feel at home, I did not get this feeling at all. The tours they offer are overpriced versus what you can get from other agencies in the town

Great people and a lot of Infos from the host about tours and all of San Pedro.

Deuxième fois que je reviens, un hostal incroyable avec un personnel adorable, je recommande sans hésitation !
