I was here for Bruuuuuuucccceeee! Amazing place.
The staff were very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. It was surprisingly fancy in restaurant/bar area, it felt high-end but still warm and comfortable. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, try the chicken sandwich! Loved the sauna as well. Would definitely stay again. :)
Great Hostel, basically a Hotel with bunkbeds. Wish there were laundromats and a shared kitchen. Gym was great and the furniture was nice.
absolute empfehlenswert. 🤩
Excellent facilities well worth what may feel like a high price for a hostel. This was in better shape then many hotels I've used
Very nice vibe here - I like the aesthetic of the rooms and lobby area. Very clean, comfortable, and peaceful. I enjoyed the sauna in the basement too. It did feel more like a hotel, but I was there attending a conference nearby. Great food options nearby including Voodoo donuts.
If you’re the kind of person who keeps to themself, this is great for you. I could’ve done with more opportunities to socialise with people in the hostel. There was a ‘common room’ but it was also a public restaurant, so it would get loud and crowded. Facilities were really amazing! Beds were cosy, storage solution was great, the shower was really great!
First time with this Hostel and I was definitely pleased. Beautiful decor, great staff. Super clean. I’ll stay again. Highly recommended
Nicest showers I ever saw in a hostel, even in Japan. I wish they had a coin operated laundry.
Incredible place, have a good place to stay is such a positive during a trip and this was definitely way more than I expected.
That comforter! This was a very lovely property. Clean, secure, excellent staff. But I wouldn't book here again due to the lack of parking being such a hassle.
My new spot for short stints in Portland. Sauna is a great feature.
Safe, clean, and quiet.
A very happy customer!
I came from the UK for the 1st time. I already knew about the tipping culture but I wasn't aware it was because of how low people get paid. I knew it wasn't great but not as low as like $2 an hour after I read about it after a bartender got really angry when I didn't tip. His money worries are valid and I'm sorry but it's no excuse to treat people like rubbish. I come from a different culture and I have a need for understanding of that. In the UK you get tips for going the extra mile. He didn't.
Not a very hostel vibe, it’s more like a hotel boutique with bucks and private rooms. There’s no shared kitchen or public fridge, as a backpacking traveler I would like to have those things on a hostel. This hostel isn’t budget friendly. They have a restaurant with not very accessible prices, very fancy for a regular traveler and when you ask for activities to do or what to visit, the front desk doesn’t have much information and ofc the hostel doesn’t offer any social interaction or ac...
I don’t usually stay in hostels in the US, but I happened to be in Portland for one night. This hostel is definitely in one of the nicest buildings I have ever stayed in. The beds were as comfortable as a luxury hotel and the decor of the building was upscale. The location is central to most of Portland’s attractions. Unfortunately the atmosphere isn’t the best for meeting other travelers. It is also pricier than most hostels but cheap for Portland.
Convenient location, bed was comfy. Hot water in the shower and shampoo/conditioner was nice smelling. Great coffee in the morning. Had a nice burger for dinner. Can recommend!
the day staff weren't very friendly, the night staff were. the place has an eerie vibe, very quiet and dark. very clean though and comfy beds!
Really great value. A swanky hostel.
