Kameleon Blue Arts Lodge

A very peaceful place, immense tranquillity and surrounded by nature, a paradise, excellent food, very friendly staff, all very attentive to guests' needs, yoga classes, massages, beach just a 5-minute walk away, fantastic, I want to come back next year, thank you Annick, you did a fantastic job. 🫶

This is a great place! I even went back again after 3 weeks of being everywhere in Zanzibar, but this is the place to be! There is an awesome beach 5 minutes down the walking path, which is common ground (not private). Great massages for a great price. Cant reccomend any better place in Zanzibar.

Un endroit paradisiaque où on se sent à la maison. Le membre du personnel et la propriétaire nous traitent comme des membres de la famille, on a passé des très bons moments au hostel. Merci pour tout!

Wahrscheinlich das beste Hostel in dem ich bisher war. Die Atmosphäre und Anlage waren super. Ich habe mich richtig wohl gefühlt und meinen Aufenthalt sogar nochmal verlängert. Vor allem aber die Mitarbeiter machen das Hostel ganz besonders. Estha, Julius, David und einfach jeder war total lieb und zuvorkommend. Absolute Empfehlung:)

we had an amazing stay at kameleon blue, it's such a beautiful place. it's around 5-10 walk to the beach, the staff are so friendly and accommodating. they have some events in the evening, yoga and massages. it's in a quieter area then some of the other hostels on the island but we were appreciative of that. Would definitely recommend.

Everything was perfect, the people were very kind, the restaurant is good and the dormitory for backpackers is comfortable

It’s a very family oriented place, but when they have live music events a lot more people come around to hang out. Staff is epic

Très bon séjour au Kameleon. Ben le patron est très chouette. Il y a une bonne ambiance et tout est très agréable. J’ai beaucoup apprécié la soirée musique. La nourriture est bonne. C’est vraiment chill !

Very nice place! The property is beautiful, the food is good and the staff is very helpful. The rooms are not the most comfortable I’ve seen but still very nice !

Absolutely lovely! The best hostel on Zanzibar by far, the staff are lovely and the rooms and common space are beautiful. Lovely pool and a five minute walk from the beach. We loved it so much we have already booked to return! The day trips are amazing and we would definitely recommend the blue safari. Wonderful hostel!

Die Lodge ist ein paradiesischer Ort. Super freundliches Personal, eine großartig gepflegte und liebevoll hergerichtete Anlage, die keine Wünsche offen lässt und mehr als zum Verweilen einlädt. Ein absoluter Geheimtipp, um entspannte Tage zu verbringen und die authentische Südküste Sansibars kennen zu lernen. Neben der Organisation verschiedener großartiger Touren bietet die Lodge auch eine abwechslungsreiche und leckere Speisen- und Getränkekarte.

Hands down the best hostel in Zanzibar! Rooms are very spacious and clean. The restaurants simply delicious, especially the desserts! The owner is a very sweet and welcoming lady and makes sure that every guests have everything they need, and all her staff is also really welcoming and competent. Also the place offers a whole range of great activities to do. The place is great both to relax by the pool and to enjoy some drinks with a nice atmosphere at the bar. Highly recommend!

The West coast is much less developed than the East coast (Page etc) so it is a lot more quiet and it is a different kind of travel. The Kameleon is a wonderful space, lovely shared areas, bar and pool. Wifi can be a bit spotty due to small power cuts, but you are in Africa so it happens. I foudn the staff really friendly and helpful in organising or advising me on activities or questions I had. I stayed in the dorm which was perfectly comfy, though basic

My second favourite hostel in Zanzibar - it would be a tie with New Teddy's in Jambiani if it were at the beach. the breakfast was incredible, with self-made jam & chocolate spread. the food was just on point, rooms were clean and nice, the vibes great, and the pool amazing!

Außergewöhnlich schönes Hostel, was zur ruhigeren Lage in Kizimkazi passt. Wunderschöner Pool mit verschiedenen Sitzgelegenheiten, sehr geräumiges Backpackerzimmer mit gepflegten, schönen Bad und super, super netten Mitarbeitern, die sympathisch, freundlich und aufmerksam sind ohne in irgendeiner Form aufdringlich zu sein. Das Frühstück war super lecker (unbedingt die Maracujamarmelade mal probieren). Wenn man auf der Suche nach Wohlfühlfaktor und gemütlichen Tagen ist, man hier ganz ...

Un backpacking de luxe ! En effet vous avez acces a un magnifique, grand et tres propre et confortable dotoir au prix de backpacking tout en pouvant bien profiter des installations du lodge pour relaxer vous reposer ou vous prelasser pres de la piscine. Le petit dej est tres bon et copieux. Le staff est adorable et aux petits soins. C’est un endroit calme pour se reposer et non pour faire la fete ! Quoi qu’on rencontre toujours des gens avec qui prendre un verre bien installe au bar ! Tres b...
