Nice place. Very convenient location. The furniture in the living area might need some investment. Staff is very kind.

I was very happy with everything, except the WiFi. For some reason when connected with the WiFi you couldn’t search anything up, using google/safari anything. That was weird Maybe you could fix that problem

The hotel feels quite humid and not very well ventilated. I booked a 4-person room hoping for a bit more comfort, but it turned out that more than 4 people were staying in the room, and that wasn’t mentioned. In the morning, when check-out opens, there was no one available at the front desk at 6:00 am, which made things difficult. Overall, I didn’t have the best experience here. For the same price — or even less — there are better options around.

Heel goed hostel

I don’t get the hype - Nomads is a big chain and a big hostel and still these were the most inconvenient rooms I’ve ever been in. The beds had no curtains and no own light or charging sockets ???? There were no keys but you had to unlock the room with an app on your phone so I couldn’t even try to charge my phone while being out on the toilet/shower/… so my phone was just always dead. Beds moved and crieked at the slightest, very noisy… please spend your money somewhere else

Pretty average stay- think the lovely staff make up for a few little issues my bed had a gap down the side as the wall jutted out and i have to say i regret looking down there, had definitely not been cleaned or hoovered for a long time. showers were okay, bit of a lucky dip as to weather you got one with hot water. other than that it was an alright stay, again the staff really make this place, so friendly and welcoming!

I had a struggle with my room and Tom from the reception solved it immediately. Always have a good stay at Nomads.

PARTY Party Hostel, sometimes the game nights go pretty crazy, but if you’re into that, it’s perfect! I had a really good time there, social vibe, great events every night and the club that’s right attached to it is actually really nice, one of the few places in Sydney CBD that’s actually busy and a good time every night.

Lots of fun, stayed there 4 nights and ended up getting free drinks multiple times. It’s huge, lots of people.

Really great rooms which had everything you needed! The kitchen was very lacking in utensils though. I think there was only one or two sauce pans in the whole kitchen so we always had to cook everything in frying pans. We also had to use spoons instead of forks because the forks were always taken. It also seemed like there was a real lack of people washing up after themselves as there were dirty dishes everywhere. Other than this though everything else was great, I would definitely recommend!

It is one of the cheaper hostels in Sydney and that’s really reflected in the quality of the rooms. The rooms are tiny and have no AC. So you have to open the windows which meant I had to listen to the busy street all night. The bathrooms were very basic with only a hook to hang your stuff up. They didn’t seem to be cleaned very often. The beds were comfy and i booked the deluxe room so i did get curtains. It’s ideal if you’re only staying a couple of nights. Not very social.

Great location and comfortable sleeping. As an older participant I enhoyed the vibe.

Best staff in Sydney: Scotty the best guuuy, Britt the loveliest girl from the staff, Meg the most funny one, Giles the king of handsomeness. Ryder and Parker the best hosts for hostel activities. Everyone is so nice in there, 100% recommended

Excellent location and I found the dorm rooms to be lovely (I had a deluxe room with a curtain which was worth the money). Anna was very helpful and the atmosphere was very relaxed. However, the bathrooms were pretty grim, private toilet in my dorm had issues such as l door not properly shutting and an infestation of drain flies in the shower, facilities are a bit shabby and music from the bar was very loud. It’s probably not the best value for money but not as bad as other reviews suggest.
