Excellent location for the harbour and circular quay - was able to walk through the botanical gardens to get everywhere. Lockers available in the room for belongings. Lots of activities available at the hostel.

I would like to warmly thank Pacific Hostel Sydney for this incredible experience ! I stayed one week as a guest and then had the chance to work there for three weeks, and it will remain an unforgettable memory .. The hostel is well maintained, clean and very comfortable to stay in.

Loved this hostel, so much so I am revisiting it in a couple weeks times.

Overall the property was nice and a good location as mostly everything in the city was walkable. We were disappointed that the ‘air con’ was a fan on the ceiling that did nothing if you were on the bottom bunk. One of the charging ports also didn’t work so we had to charge phones on the other side of the room, behind someone else’s bunk.

Really enjoyed my stay, very social with lots of activities going on! The staff were all so lovely and helpful, the beds were comfortable and it was a fun stay, would definitely recommend!!

Excellent building with fuction space well used. Very good water and furniture.

Best hostel I’ve ever stayed in and everyone I speak to agrees! The atmosphere is so welcoming, I made friends instantly. There’s activities everyday to get involved with like walking, running, wine & cheese, sunset picnic etc, hosted by the staff. Just a 10/10 place to stay if you’re coming to Sydney! 😁

The place is dirty, too hot, crowded and not enough toilet for the guest. The price is expensive for a shared room. The booking alterations was not flexible. I felt I was in a third world country and could not breath properly. I have to cut short my booking as the place was not safe for myself.

Great hostel. The staff are friendly and helpful, the beds are super comfy, the facilities are very well maintained, and it’s in the heart of the CBD. The rooms don’t have aircon, which can make it a little bit hot, but they are big and well ventilated. Social-wise, it’s kind of challenging to talk to people if English is your preferred language. If you speak French, that’s the place for you; otherwise, it’s going to be hard to socialise.

Really social hostel ! Lots of events on and a really cool building. Staff were friendly and the breakfast included was a plus. The only downside was the AC wasn’t the best so rooms felt quite stuffy, and there weren’t enough washing machines. Other than that everything was fab, clean and good value for money. Good location too.

I really loved Pacific house its easy to get, easy to move around and the atmosphere it’s the best. The kitchen was a bit crowd all the time but everyone was friendly so not such a big problem

Amazing stay here, loads of free events and lovely staff. I even extended my stay here!

Beds were comfy and room had lots of space and was in a good location to walk into the centre. But, there was not enough facilities for the number of people sharing them. 3 showers for a floor with many bedrooms often meant waiting about and only 4 toilets for the whole floor. The kitchen was also too busy all of the time and even going early for the included breakfast you struggled to get a seat. There was also a lot of people staying long-term in the hostel, so was a bit cliquey.

Overall the hostel was a good hostel, beds were comfy and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean and I was never waiting for a shower. Walkable to the main attractions in Sydney. However I was in a 10 bed and there was no aircon, so this meant the room was rather warm, stuffy and had an odd smell and the carpets could do with being replaced or cleaned. The hostel didn’t feel very social and it felt like everyone already had their own groups. Staff were great however!
