Nice hotel nice ambiance
Really loved this hostel! The vibe is super chill and welcoming, and the place just looks great overall. Everything feels social, cozy, and nicely put together. Easy to meet people, but also relaxed enough to just do your own thing. Would definitely stay here again!
The place is really nice, clean and very well situated. Everybody is welcoming specifically the french people that are all amazing, Lily at the reception is the best, very helpful. it's not far from the centre and the Beaches so it's really easy to enjoy your days from here
I absolutely loved my stay at The Original Backpackers! The vibes here are amazing and it’s so easy to meet people. The staff is super friendly and always ready to help with a smile. I was also really impressed with the room it was super clean and comfortable, which isn't always easy to find! The food was great as well, definitely a plus. Highly recommended
This is my new favourite hostel! It has a great outdoor area plus free breakfast and dinner. The staff are amazing and so helpful. Leo, Honor, and Ethan were especially helpful. I’d definitely recommend staying here!

Music blaring until 6 in the morning outside our room which made it impossible to sleep - no enforcement of quiet hours. Unfortunate as apart from that clean enough and friendly, helpful staff.
the showers looked so disgusting, there was rarely any toilet paper, the room was the messiest thing i’ve ever seen, it smelled like weed no matter where you went, it’s never quiet, and the girls in my dorm had utilized the entire floor for their wardrobe:(
Being honest the staff are unbelievably lovely. The hostel itself has so much potential. Unfortunately the long term stayers are the problem. They dump their stuff everywhere and treat the place as if the magic washing up fairy will clean up after them. I also cannot understand why sitting on the door step until 3 in the morning talking and taking drugs seems to be the best spot…. Breakfast is fantastic and the events like the bbq and Easter roast were unbelievably generous!
Very dirty and rooms completely stuffed with stuff. Staff was kind. Mornings there was no one for check out and couldn’t reach any one. Wouldn’t recommend.
Not a great hostel details say you can check in till midnight I arrived just past 11 and there’s no one there the 2 phone numbers are unresponsive and no one actually showed up for around 40 minutes, rooms weren’t clean, my door key didn’t work and wasn’t given basic info about the kitchen/getting utensils from reception had no idea what was going on, vibe was decent
