I stayed there for a while. Solid hostel, good location. Very sociable, everyone was really nice.
Very basic hostel. I had a private room and the smell was really bad, I did miss some fresh air a lot - also in the floors. The staff was friendly. I still think its overprized.
Very friendly staff, clean environment. Had an amazing time and will be returning.
The rooftop was cool, shame you get kicked off at 10pm. Security was bad anyone can come into the hostel, they don’t enforce the rules about guests being loud. Bit too cliquey, showers were cramped tiny and floor was gross. Quite a small area considering the amount of people, no curtains in some rooms which is fine if the people in your room are cool. Common area with the movie room sofas were disgusting no one cleans up after themselves. Location was decent

I could have go to other mad monkeys cause they’re a lot but I can’t cause it’s like home and I get attached to the place.
It was nice over all; the kitchen is fully equipped and the bathrooms were in really good condition, staff was helpful and nice. Just one complaint, I came here also because of the pool table but I couldn't have access to it cause it broke and I understand that is not the hostel fault but no pool no happy
Il y a beaucoup des bonnes personnes ici et l’ambiance c’est incroyable. Il n’y a pas une autre endroit que je voudrais rester. Le chef, Josh, est incroyable et l’endroit fonctionne très bien. Les lits sont confortable, le salon c’est confortable, et les salles des bains sont propres. 10/10 je recommande
Nice stay with lovely staff and friendly guests. Room and facilities are cleaned frequently. Location is the coolest convinience for hanging out around.

Decent hostel, quite cramped and only one bathroom on each floor, which made the corridor smell a bit. Handy for transport round the city
The bathrooms always smelled and there’s a ton of mold in the showers. The room was decent enough but no AC and the mattress was barely a mattress
Very mid Hostel with basically no chill space to Hang out. Neighbourhood is cool though
Had such a great time during my stay here! Great location and community. The staff here are fantastic and really made the trip all the more enjoyable!

Solid hostel honestly, very social in communal areas, clean restrooms and fresh sheets etc. Had no issues with my stay, my partner and I enjoyed it a lot. Good price for a mixed dorm and for a private room. You can beat it, ideal location in kings cross by cafes, bars, etc. They even have social events every night between their hostel and the other mad monkeys. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone, out of all mad monkeys this one is probably the best.
Very accommodating staff, who helped us reschedule our booking, when our flight was cancelled last minute. Because of the lack of airconditioning, I would think twice before booking a stay there during the summer.
The staff were fantastic, but unfortunately the hostel was tiny and the cleaning was just not up to standard.
I stayed there for two nights. After waking up from the first night sleep, I look myself at the mirror and had small bites all over my arms, which looked like bed bug’s bite. I spoke to the receptionist and told me that after checking the bed they saw no signs, so they proceeded to change the sheets. Next day, I wake up with my back all bitten and the manager repeatedly said (in a very bad manner) that there would be no way that those were bed bug’s, that it was mosquitoes because I only had...
