Gross hostel

Nice place, nice people. A social hostel at a good location. For the price as well, you can't complain.

unser zimmer hat unglaublich dolle gestunken. hat wahrscheinlich an den anderen leuten aus dem zimmer gelegen. man kann aber nicht vernünftig lüften, wir mussten einen mülleimer in die tür stellen, damit sie aufbleibt und ein bisschen luft herein kommt. wir hatten ein bad im zimmer, das war sauber und schön. die küche ist schon eher dreckig, es gab keine vernünftigen handtücher, geschirr und besteck war nicht sauber. der kinoraum war total schön!! und der innenhof auch. insg. voll in ...

Upon arrival, the receptionist was yelling at one of the cleaning staff members. When we greeted her, she did not respond; I had to say hello twice before getting a reply, which felt very disrespectful and unprofessional. Regarding cleanliness, the rooms were dirty. We found cockroaches in the room, and there was rubbish under the beds. Overall, the experience was very disappointing and far below the standard we expected.

The hostel is located right in Newtown, with many clubs and pubs nearby. However, the hostel itself has few social areas and places to sit.

I would not recommend this hostel to anyone especially if you are travelling solo as a female. I stayed in a female only dorm and the door did not close properly. 9 times out of 10 when I returned to my room the door was left open and you did not need to scan your key card to get in, anyone could just push the door open. I reported this to reception multiple times as did other people in my room and nothing was done. It was unclean, felt unsafe and staff were unfriendly. Stay anywhere else!!!

Good quality/price ratio and very friendly staff

Not for stay long!

Location not the best, have to get buses/ubers or walk a good hour or more to the centre. Staff not very friendly & the atmosphere wasn’t very good. Didn’t feel clean & no curtains on the bunks.

Slept there 4 nights for new year eve, when we arrive there was a mess in the room mixed with a mechanic odor and all of the furnitures was full of stuff, then the stuff’s owner went in the middle of the night aroud 2 am to take off everything stopped, and came back at 4am doing rounds trip to remove all of that stuff until maybe 7am without caring about the noises he did, the mechanic odour still staying there everytime you come in the room you smell it, all the screws on the bed are loose

Absolutely grim

L’ensemble est très agréable mais la cuisine est beaucoup trop petite.

里面员工挺友善的，住客有来自各个国家的人亚洲人比较少，位置也很好，离市中心2km左右，周边也有大超市，还有个小亚超很方便，出门就是公交站。 缺点是女生宿舍带浴室的那个房间风扇实在是太响了，第一晚直接没睡着。没有浴室的那间太太暗了也很逼仄，没有窗户没有阳光像在坐牢的感觉。

Fine hostel, lots of long term residents so wasn’t super social for me but the free pancakes were delicious! Staff were nice and overall good

Great spot to stay close to train and heaps of shops Lovely friendly staff. Rooms good value definitely enjoyed my stay.

The only downfall was the smell in the bedroom. The room needed to be aired out. Very smelly
