The Pod Sydney

Quiet, small hostel. Bed offers enough space for everything. Just stayed there for one night so no opinion about the kitchen and the interaction with other people. Bathrooms were clean and tidy. Would recommend!

The Pod was pretty good. It’s a great location and very calm/quiet atmosphere. I wish they would have taken the kitchen trash out more often. Luggage storage is a large closet that was left open for people to access before checkin, kind of made me nervous but I didn't have any issues. The bed frames are metal and plywood so you will hear EVERY bump or dropped item. People tried to be respectful. Staff was very friendly!

We stayed here for 2 nights as we arrived in Sydney, the place was very clean and beds where comfy, but the social aspect was rubbish no one spoke in the dorms it was so quite you could hear a pin drop this is not a social hostel at all over all poor rating.

The experience was excellent in every way. The atmosphere was very quiet, which made it easy to sleep well. The facilities were clean and well maintained, and the kitchen was outstanding. The staff were friendly and helpful. The curtains provided good privacy, and the hostel felt safe overall. I would highly recommend it.

This hostel was amazing. The staff are super friendly and are always on hand to help you in any way they can- and with a smile. Always willing to have a conversation with you too. The hostel is very clean, the rooms as well as the bathroom and kitchen. You can tell the owners and staff take pride in what they do. The hostel is small and intimate and it perfect.

10/10 Hands down the best hostel I’ve stayed so far! The hostel was extremely clean. The staff were amazing - super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed, with no loud noise at all. The hostel also felt super secure, which made the stay even more comfortable. The location us excellent, very convenient and pretty close to everything. On top of all of these the quality-price ratio amazing. I would definetly stay there again and highly recommend it.

Loved my actual stay here; I’m not looking for party hostels and do look for quiet hostels with privacy curtains that are clean, and that is what my stay was like here. Unfortunately, although the terms and conditions of my reservation were that I’d pay via an initial deposit and then pay the rest at arrival, about a month before they charged my card with no warning or receipt, and then were very difficult to get in contact with regarding how much money I’d need to pay on arrival.

Very helpful staff. The hostel is relatively small but well located near the centre of the city and close to transport links. Dorm rooms were quite small but beds were comfortable. Book early - I tried to book further dates but beds were unavailable. I would definitely use this hostel again .

Nice quiet hostel, exactly what I needed for one night after 22 hours of flying. The pods were private and comfortable and the hostel had everything needed. Would recommend.

The Pod Sydney is a good place to have your own personal space while staying in a hostel. The Pods are kind of your own room, so you can have some privacy. Very clean place! Especially the kitchen was a good place to cook your own meals. Also the staff was very nice and friendly!

Great hostel, private area so you can just chill out and have some alone time. Very well maintained, extremely clean with friendly staff. Only thing I could fault was there didn’t seem to be many travellers, mostly long term stay so if you’re looking for social / meeting people it wasn’t the atmosphere for this. Other than that 10/10!

loved the fact that the bed had privacy curtains and felt very good about changing a shirt or so inside and or arrange your luggage...

A lot of Asians there, also most older and families. So don’t come if you wanna socialize. But amazing staff, very clean, big, just overall great.
