Sleeping Well Hostel Chiang Khong

Good for what you pay but it is in a very quiet area with little to do, it’s a good stop over before the slow boat if needed. Check in was a bit confusing and the bathrooms could have been cleaner

Spent only one night before taking the slow boat, everything was arranged very easily but I didn't meet anyone working there as we arrived late and left early morning

Really did sleep well here, the beds are so comfy, room and bathroom were so clean, overall great stay

Very very weird experience here. The place was a total ghost town. There was no one at the check in desk, so I had to wait about 15 minutes for a cleaning lady to come over and help me out. I was the only person in the whole building which was rather unsettling. Felt like something out of the twilight zone. Place really wasn't that clean. Never got the food they promised to give out to people going on the slow boats the next day.

Quiet town so the hostel had no atmosphere because there wasn't many people around. room was clean but pretty tightly squeezed because the bed was against the wall and there wasn't much room on the other side of it so once I opened my bag there was basically no easy walkway to the bathroom. The light in the bathroom isn't over the sink so you can't really tell if you've washed your face properly. Hot shower, decent pressure. Good balconies on every level. Only 1 member of staff but very nice.

This is a convenient place to spend one night (15 to 20 minutes walk from the bus station). The room is small (only just fits a bed), reception closes early and there's not really an atmosphere, but it is clean and close to ATMs and shops.

Stayed for one night before we crossed into Laos. Decent little border hostel. Few ants on the floor, basic facilities, no social vibe really. Comfy enough beds.

We stayed here one night before the slow boat. Absolutely perfect and such good value. Room was small for two people but cosy and very clean. Bed was comfortable, not too hard and two pillows as well. Really fun bar with karaoke across the street and right in the main area if chiang khong.

Small rooms but thats as expected. Shared bathroom wasnt the cleanest but wasnt super dirty. Good location & very walkable. Would stay here again.

Nobody was there for the check-in in the early evening. Had to call them twice and wait around 25 minutes. Facilities are okay, not too clean. Smell in the rooms is strong and might not be for everyone. Stay was okay for one night.

It’s a 7 min walk from a 711. The place is nice and clean, room was good and bed was very comfy! I didn’t feel safe at all because the door from my corridor to outside wasn’t locked at night. Also not much space to socialize. Overall nice stay and was good for 1 night.

Cosy place to stay as a couple, however little to no space for luggage inside your room. Clean facilities however only one shower that worked, the other one was scalding and did not fix to the wall.

No one at the reception on arrival in the afternoon and same in the morning.. room is nice but no AC plug near the bed and no light switch too.. could be a bit improved for the price Not the best place to socialize Rooms are clean and comfortable

Nice place to stay before crossing the border. Quiet and not a social hostel. Not much to do in the town. Bar across the street. Some food in walking distance. Sometimes hard to find staff. Easier to just message them on WhatsApp if you need anything

This was a great place to stop overnight before the slowboat to Laos. It was clean, the bed was large and comfy, and it was nicely situated in town. It really is such a cute place. Only downside is that the walls are a bit thin so you can easily hear when others wake up in the morning. Overall, would stay again!
