In the most unsinspiring part of the city. No people at reception, no one showup in 2 daya, cramped dormitoris, no lockers, kitchen is a koke, no kooking facilitys, many strange rules and impositions: if you pay with credit card they will charge you ! 10% comisdion ! The place is absolutelly overpriced. Not recomend at all to stay here.
Mia was lovely 😘
Was okayish. The way how you pay is just a bit weird - you put the amount of what you pay into a letter box and get your charge back eventually. The owner decided herself to round up to their advantage which was a bit like…?! You only communicate with the staff via WhatsApp, check in was smooth and easy and overall it’s a well equipped hostel - just missed lockers!!
Clean and comfortable stay. There was zero social atmosphere but I didn’t really expect one. The location is far from the attractions but I just used Dart, the equivalent of Grab, to get around. There was also a jetty service less than a 5 minutes walk away. The staff was helpful via WhatsApp, arranging a car for me.
Whatsapp to correspond which was ok. Location is about 20-30 mins walk from tourist attractions. Quiet hostel, noisy beds. Shower is hot but sink is broken. Overall, fine for a couple of nights just to tick off brunei.
This hostel is very average, nothing much going on, have to check in via WhatsApp and can only communicate with staff via that too. Was bed bug spray in the bathroom which was alarming but I couldn’t see any evidence of bugs. No lockers available. This place is about 40 minute walk from the centre, buses are very unreliable and there is no uber/grab
nice hostel with 2 kitchen and a hanout area and is very clean
Unfortunately my time at Co.Living was very poor. - 1.75 hours waiting to checkin and then rushed once able to - Bathroom was basically always flooding - Mattresses were thin and uncomfortable - Owner was unpleasant and rude when asking for assistance Positives were there are many places to eat nearby and no one goes here so I had a 6 bed dorm to myself.
The hostel was good as far as cleanliness and facilities was concerned. it was however hard to find and there was nobody at reception . Booking had to be online using phone messages. The hostel was also a long way from the city centre.
the hostel is ok, but when I first walked in to the hostel the owner was screaming at a customer on the telephone for 10 minutes. the girl at the reception could not give me information about the city and there were no lockers in the rooms
Location was far out from the bus stop and main attractions, the hostel wasn't social at all but i think thats down to not many visiting Brunei. The bed was very comfortable and the hostel was clean.
It’s fine. The ac works and it’s in a good location for food and semi walkable to the city (35min). However I wouldn’t recommend or stay again. There’s one bathroom for the entire complex. To get to the private rooms you have to walk through the dorm. There are privacy curtains but only the bottom bunks. If you score a top bunk not only are there no rails, but the privacy curtains for the bottom bunks wrap around the ladder so prepare to slip and fall every time you climb down. Huge safe...
Family vibe hostel near plenty of eateries Small hostel with basic facilities, around 2.5km walking distance from main tourist spots. Quiet & peaceful hostel
Offers free drinking water and coffee/tea. Really helpful and friendly staff as well! Didn’t expect too much on the social side but met a couple of nice people during my stay there.
The accomodation is simple yet enough for a quick break in the city. Plenty of shops and eateries around the block. The staff Bell and Azi was very kind and helpful.Public Bus #20 passes on the street just in front of the hostel but you can get on the more frequent Circle Line Bus #1 at the back on the area.
