BED BUGS!!!! Don’t not stay here- you will get bitten by bed bugs. Every single room is absolutely infested and staff are claiming there has been treatment but are allowing guests to stay in infested rooms. I was bitten 20+ times in one night so moved to room no2- this room also had bed bugs and A LOT of bedbug evidence. Moved again to room no3 and again had an infestation. 4 days later I’m still covered in scabs from the bites and the overall experience was the worst we have had in over 2mo...
Albert was great and very helpful. Gives you perfect directions which makes finding it easy. Hostel was clean and would defo recommend especially if you’re going to the 7s.
This is by far the worst hostel I have ever stayed in. It’s tiny, unclean and disgusting. There was no one at reception when I arrived and there were 3 other people waiting, texting and calling the number we were told to with no response. Then our whole dorm was covered in BEDBUGS (4/4/26) and the largest bed bugs I have ever seen in my life. We tried to contact them that night and again no response and I have sense tried to ask for a refund and still no response. Do NOT stay here
We arrived quite late and were aware that there might not be staff which was fine. But there was so sign to show where the hostel is we were walking around for 20 minutes before we found the building. It was so confusing as well when we got inside and found our keys but there was no room only to be told by people staying that we are in a completely different floor. Which was not maintained at all, couldn’t even open the door the whole way as there was bedding and mattress, also we found bed bu...
Franchement l’emplacement sauve la note. Insalubre, j’avais vu des avis parlant de punaises de lit j’ai stressé chaque soir de me réveiller couverte de bouton. Au final chanceuse j’en ressors juste couverte de bouton de moucheron à cause de l’humidité (pas de fenêtre dans les chambres). Toilettes et chambres sales. Salle de bain minuscule et 2 cabines de douches pour 3 dortoirs . Coin fumeur juste à côté des dortoirs donc c’est très bruyant le soir j’ai passé 3 nuits horr...
It's in a great location in TST by the subway - tons of things to do and places to eat within walking distance. The best part is the view from the upper-floor balcony! Some minor improvements could be made, but the owner is aware and is very friendly. It's compact and cozy - I recommend the 4-bed dorm. Also, check out the horse races on Wednesday nights on the island (free admission!). And the view from Victoria Peak is a must see

fabulous stay at the urban pack hostel!! it is located in the heart of the town with a bus & metro station right below making commute super easy. Jonas at the front desk made sure all of the guests were having a good time by arranging pub crawls at night, giving local food/must see recommendations and coming up with a new years eve party which was just amazing and one that i will never forget. A 10/10 hostel with 10/10 people.
Ik kreeg eerst per ongeluk een bed in een vrouwen-dorm. Daarna werd ik verplaatst naar een locatie verderop, op de 8e verdieping met een al weken kapotte lift. De kamer was eigenlijk een vies appartement met stapelbedden en gezinnen in de slaapkamers. Er sliepen zo’n 10 mensen. Laatste nacht kwamen om 04:00 uur nog een luidruchtig gezin inchecken. Erg matige ervaring.
Great, cozy hostel. Amazing view from the room itself. The manager of the hostel is very easy going and helped us tons with getting to the hostel and even giving us tips on things to do in Hong Kong.
Never saw a staff member. Everything’s crammed but to be honest it’s not as bad as reviews are saying.

This is the worse hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Do not stay here. We thought the central location would be redeeming, but it was not. This place is cramped, dirty, our room (purple room) was infested with bed bugs. We have bite marks to prove it. The review on Google reviews shows photos of a hostel which is just not true. There is no chill out space, the reception are never there. There is no social vibe in this hostel. Save your trip. Do not stay here.
Emailed a week in advance that I would like to check in one day later. No response - they simply drew the payment and when I showed up they had already given away my bed. I was instead given an inferior bed with worse curtains and only one electrical outlet rather than two. No compensation nor refund for the extra day. The water pressure for cold water in the men’s shower is non-existent. The shower smelled like pee. Air condition in the room broken and loud. Great location though
Not clean at all, my sheets had not been washed with clear saliva stains on the pillow, everything is covered in dust, and the bathrooms were in poor condition. AC also not working properly in the 8-bed mixed dorm. Also no social vibes.
Just a room and ond bathroom. Nothing else, was not really clean. A mother and little kid live there and are nice but the building is old and didnt smell good. But the trully bad thing is that there is nothing (room and bathroom that is all). Unexpected for me honestly
Booked a triple room for 3 men as said bunk bed and single bed. The single bed was a camp bed that did not actually fit in the bedroom. We were given a 3rd bed in a 4 man male dorm adjacent to the room we booked. The actual accommodation was in an apartment in a separate building to the hostel. Also staying in this apartment was a local family, a young couple with a 3 year old son who seemed to be living there. It was all very strange.
Couldn’t have asked for anything more at all from Urban Pack, had a great time and Albert was so so helpful with everything I needed

The best parts of this hostel is the detail given by Albert on how to arrive and find the hostel, as it can be confusing, but he makes it nice and simple. Also the location is great. The metro is just right across the street as you exit the building. It’s just weird not seeing anyone if the staff until my third day there. But it’s very easy to communicate or message with them.
