YHA Canterbury

My booking was upgraded, which was a nice surprise. The kitchen was clean, easy to move around with plenty of cooking utensils. I was fortunate enough to get a parking space too. In all an enjoyable stay.

Great location to tour Kent

J'ai passé un très bon moment dans cet hostel. J'étais dans une chambre privée et les sanitaires étaient partagés, mais je n'ai eu aucun souci. Le staff était aussi très gentil et disponible (réponse rapide par mail). En conclusion, merci beaucoup pour ce séjour !

Perfect for a quick trip. There is not a ton to do in the area, but they had some of the nicest staff :)

Great facilities (eg. bike storage, lounge, laundry room...). Breakfast (paid) was great but the hostel also has very good self-catering facilities. There weren't many people when I went, but the atmosphere was still good! 10-15 mins walk to the city center and just a couple of minutes away from several supermarkets. The hostel currently only has private rooms available, no dorms. As a result, I (travelling solo) had to pay (a very reasonable price) for a 2 people en-suite room.

As usual, this and other YHA hostels I've found to be clean, well run with polite, helpful & efficient staff. That's why I like and use the YHA if possible.

Great hostel. I’ve stayed here twice, would come again.

Le personnel est très avenant et sympathique. Le petit déjeuner illimité est très bon. Nous avions réservé une chambre privée toutefois nous avons eu une chambre pour 6 privatisée c’est bien dommage quand on vient en couple. Les draps ont bien été changé toutefois la netteté des draps et la propreté des douches n’est pas au rendez-vous. Il y a du chauffage dans les parties commune mais pas dans les chambres. Il est impossible d’activer le chauffage dans les chambres.

Absolutely beautiful and clean hostel. Staff were friendly. Nice kitchen. About twenty minute walk to city center. Would definitely stay again.
