Kaen Hostel

Location was great, walking distance to the beach and whatever I needed. I was a little disappointed in how dirty and run down my room and the shared bathroom was. There was just a weird energy about this place, I don’t think I’d stay again.

Just avoid the place i had to move out after the first day it was so dirty

Very loud area, the room was almost empty so not social at all. But the facilities are clean and the staff were really nice

Un Établissement plutôt bien situé, mais avec une ambiance étrange, pas de réel, problème si ce n’est l’odeur d’urine/ égout très fort dans les toilettes, mais rien de très bien non plus. Par contre la porte d’entrée qui accueille avec 12 interdictions… pas sympa

For one night and passing through it is ok. It was the only hostel I could find in the area with a female dorm. The rest was really nothing to talk about. No soap in showers, water dripping along the bathroom walls, place seems to fall apart, rooftop is not what it looks like on the photos, room and bedding was clean but stains on the white sheets. Moldy smell in the bathroom. Staff was friendly and I had a good sleep!

When we booked we didn’t really look a the reviews but basically it’s really dirty. It looks quite nice and recent on the photos and in the lobby but the rooms are tiny and smell of mold. When we walked around the hostel, there were so many cockroaches on the ground alive and dead… also they want you to take your shoes off when you come in but it’s so dirty that you can’t walk barefoot. We had booked for 4 nights and didn’t even stay for one. We left after asking for a refund which ...

The only good thing is the location. When we arrived we checked ourselves in as the woman at the reception did not speak English. You have to remove your shoes when you enter, but the floor is dirty in all the building (at least they give you flip flops). The toilet was in a pitiful state, with water leaks from pipes on the ceiling, and was very dirty as well. We didn't have the courage to shower for 2 days. Lockers were not lockers, but drawers. There was not the place to put any lock.

Het gehele hostel rook vochtig/ schimmelachtig. Zo erg dat mijn kleding er nog steeds naar ruikt. De badkamer was erg vochtig en wilde hier zo snel mogelijk weg na een douche. Daarbij moet je een geheel contract tekenen over alle hostelregels die gebaseerd zijn op wantrouwen (je moet geld betalen als je je pas in de kamer laat liggen om de deur open te laten maken)

Dusche und alles ist ziemlich dreckig, feucht und fast verschimmelt. Man würde am liebsten nicht Duschen gehen. Die Handtücher sind auch schon Dreckig wie auch das Bett.

Je n'ai pas aimé cette auberge. Les douches sont très humide et il fait chaud, niveau propreté certaines filles avaient leurs règles et il y avait des taches au sol... le délai pour nettoyer a peit une journée... pour les chambre c'était ok mais pas de casiers ! Beaucoup de beuit à l'extérieur et beaucoup de chinois...

The hostel is not a place where you feel comfortable. The bathrooms are not clean at all, the beds are okay. There are no lockers in the hostel and the staff isn't really friendly. In total not worth visiting this place, also Pattaya shouldn't be on top of your bucket list.

got charged 790 BAHT for one night in a dorm, which is very expensive

Les dortoirs sont très petits et on a du mal à tenir à deux au milieu. Il n’y a aucune mixité malgré ma demande. Ca fait trop bizarre de dormir entre hommes quand on choisi un dortoir mixte, je trouve. Même les sanitaires ne sont pas mixtes. Les casiers ne peuvent pas être fermés par un cadenas et le coffre n’était pas fonctionnel heureusement que j’étais avec des gens qui ne volent pas.

The location was close to the beach, and the room was clean and nice. I booked a female dorm, but the people weren’t very friendly or welcoming. Overall, it was a good stay, but I did feel a bit uncomfortable and bored.

The location is good, the hostel felt secure and nice, it's not a social hostel if that is what your looking for but it does the job if your staying in Pattaya. I did like that it had a security box to place your valuables and they offer you a bottle of water upon arrival.
