Best hostel I’ve ever stayed in💟💟💟💟

Fantastic location if you want to explore the park by yourself and feel the magic! The staff is incredibly kind, the room was cozy and the bathroom/showers were cleaned regularly. I was there during winter, the common area was pretty chilly (despite the electric heater), and I didn’t see much people hanging out if that is the vibe you are going for. I was perfectly happy enjoying the quietness! They also have a lovely cafe upstairs with discounted prices for guests. I would definitely go again...

Totally awesome. Pepe and staff were very helpful and friendly. My kids loved the deer which they watched right outside their window. Best value for money I’ve ever seen. The common room was cozy and I enjoyed getting warm drinking tea. We also liked the cafe. The beds were very comfortable.

Grande chambre au calme au pied du parc. Espace commun avec coin cuisine, table et canapé agréable. A 20mn à pied d' un 7/11. Il faudrait un ou deux lavabos en plus et améliorer l'isolation.

Lovely place to stay right in the park. Very friendly staff who have a detailed check in. Worth noting places in the park close around 5pm so you need to walk out of the park to get dinner. Room was very bright (bring an eye mask), but a very nice place to stay

You can indeed see the deer from your window in the morning. It was raining in Nara when we checked in here, so the location was perfect as a resthouse after having a long walk around the park.

Very friendly and helpfull staff! Location is also awesome, you are immediately greeted by the deer as you walk out the front door

Lovely hostel right in Nara Park. Clean and quiet with a nice kitchen and cute, comfortable common area. Highly recommend if you want to experience Nara without the crowds.

petit Hostel très sympa, en plein coeur du parc, bien situé proche de tout les centres d'intérêt de Nara. Personnel tres gentil et accueillant. Seul chose à prévoir, tout les commerce ferme à 17h dans la zone, donc il faut marcher jusqu'au centre ville pour manger le soir ou alors prévoyez de quoi cuisiner à l'auberge.

Very cute hostel, easily walkable to all the attractions in Nara. They gave a great list of recommendations for my visit. Kind staff as well.

The Location is inside the park. This means you can get an early start visiting the temples, hanging out with the deer, or going hiking with in the Primeval Forest. The downside is that there aren't any restaurants or convenience stores nearby. It takes 25 minutes to walk into town. For me, it was a great location. Fantastic staff! Kana, Suzuki (Pepe), and Jenn were all very warm and welcoming and shared ideas about where to go and what to do. Really kind people!

Ik verbleef hier 2 nachten. Positief: goede bedden & goede warme douche, gratis koffie & thee. Kamer, douches & wc waren schoon. Minpunten: het is ontzettend gehorig & de keuken is echt minimaal (bestek is er nauwelijks). Warm water in de keuken deed het niet dus moest ik stuntelen met gekookt water uit de waterkoker. De keukenmuren zijn ook een beetje smerig. Er is een gemeenschappelijke ruimte maar zonder daglicht. Ik zie potentie in deze lokatie maar er moet veel gebeuren.

Location is great, staff are good and it feels like you are in a guesthouse.

En plein milieu du parc de Nara, l'ambiance était calme et reposante. Les parties communes sont vraiment adorables, la chambre est basique mais spacieuse. Le personnel est très accueillant. Je recommande grandement

What a lovely and stylish place! English-speaking staff, very helpful. The room was great, not at all the backpacker-rathole you very frequently meet in Asia and also in Japan. Nara ist great, too. Ganbatte!

Amazing place! Not your typical hostel where you would hangout and make friends, more like a boutique lodge. The private rooms are a vibe, the shower is amazing, the location is best you can get. Perfect for a chill night of privacy. Only cons was the walls are ultra thin so you can hear everything, bring earplugs!

Had a nice rustic charm. Not terribly refined but pleasant. Could use more than one overhead light in the room. Good value considering the other options. Great location.

Incredible place! Friendly staff & wonderful room. Quiet location very close to temples & hiking trails :)
