The 70's Hostel

Super cute and clean hostel, right by the beach and with all the surf gear you need to enjoy Ericeira’s waves! Alex and Gabi were the kindest hosts and made me feel at home, organizing things like a group beach walk and surf lessons that made it easy to meet others at the hostel. It’s a small and homey hostel which made it easy to chat with other guests. I’d definitely stay again!

staff was super nice and it is totally worth the stay. The Common area was a bit chaotic.

I only stayed here a couple of nights but would’ve stayed here for WEEKS if I could. It’s such a cozy place and Maria truly makes everyone feel like it’s their own home. At least in my own experience you can meet amazing people here and everyone becomes like a small family

I loved my stay in the 70‘s hostel! It felt more like a short term home away from home than a hostel! I met really great people here, we cooked together, played games and went surfing together! Everyone was super nice, especially Maria made me feel welcome from the start and brought a cool vibe to the hostel! I will definitely be back :)

Maria was an amazing host, we felt very welcome and safe in this hostel and met so many amazing people, thank you so much! the atmosphere is amazing, so it is very easy to meet people and do things but also great to just relax. it has a great location for surfing, skating but also just for visiting the city. the only downside was that the beds are not the most comfortable (and lack a bit of privacy because of the curtains) and that the bathroom is not very practical since it isn't very spacious.

One of the most beautiful experiences I’ve had, the hostel is amazing in every possible way and Maria is one of the most heartwarming people I have ever met and an amazing host, you will feel like home and you’ll feel like everyone you meet there is family, everyone i met there extended their stay, you wouldn’t want to leave either. :)

Everything about this hostel is awesome. Maria treats everyone like royalty/best friends and is a true GODDESS. Because it’s a small hostel, you get to know everyone and really feel like a family. Met some seriously awesome people here. Book early because it does book up!
