Hostal De Las Américas

Solide Unterkunft aufgrund der Lage. Das Zimmer war extrem eng und das Personal etwas Inkompetent. Schlüssel wurden vertauscht, haben dann nicht mehr funktioniert, Handtuch wurde einfach weggeräumt und im Bad lagen echt überall Haare. Frühstück war jeden Morgen 2 Scheiben Toast mit Marmelade

They put me in someone else’s bed, so when I got home at night someone had moved all my stuff. I found the general atmosphere quite gloomy. I didn’t find the staff friendly at all. I wasn’t given a locker or shown the facilities. I booked for three nights but left after one, which I think was a really good idea

un buen hostal. hay 1 chica en recepcion que necesita le den clase de buenos modales y mejor servicio al cliente. pesima actitud.

Bajó su servicio. Metieron mas literas a las habitaciones y es incomodo el pequeño espacio que dejaron para poder moverte dentro de la habitacion. Hay mucho ruido por las noches por los bares alrededor (lleva tus tapones, de lo contrario no duermes). Antes el desayuno incluia huevo y fruta, estaba mas completo. Ahora solo cafe y 2 piezas de pan tostado con mermelada. Pedi mi factura hace 15 dias que me hospedé y no me lan enviado aun :(

Sehr schönes Hostel! Wenn ich was negatives nennen müsste, wäre das höchstens, dass es in den Zimmern recht warm werden kann und die Betten keine Vorhänge haben. Leider waren recht wenige andere Reisende dort, sodass es etwas schwierig war, andere kennenzulernen. Aber sonst war alles wirklich toll. Sehr schöne Terrassen, schöne Zimmer mit Bad, super nette Mitarbeiter und sogar Frühstück inklusive, wenn auch recht klein (2 Scheiben Toast, Butter, Marmelade, Kaffee/Tee). Ich komme gerne...

This hostel is so hold, it is not clean, staff unfriendly

Deberian avisar antes que sólo se puede usar la cocina de 11am a 22, tienen los cubiertos bajo llave, el desayuno es una mísera tostada con mantequilla y un café. La habitación compartida no tiene cortinas en las camas ni tiene una adecuada ventilación. La ventana da a la recepción y se escucha todo. Lo salvable fue la amabilidad de algunos miembros del staff

Was there for 1 night, so it was fine for that. The rooms were tight, and bathrooms were tiny. Lights and lock in the bathroom didn’t work

The hostel was ok. Fine for a couple of nights. No real social vibe though. Rooftop garden was beautiful! Kitchen was quite dirty, rooms were ok, bathrooms also ok in terms of cleanliness. Lots of people to a dorm. Great location. Probably wouldn’t stay again because it was a little isolating but otherwise if you want a quiet stay it’s a good spot.

Excelente espacio, cómodo, limpio y unico. Mis días fueron extraordinarios, sin duda un espacio que vale la pena visitar. Agradezco enteramente a todo el personal por siempre ser amables y atentos. Gracias, Reyna, Arturo, Delfino, Cristi… por su calidez.

this hostel is fine. the location is great but the overall atmosphere wasn’t good. it wasn’t social at all but it was fine for a last minute one night stay. it’s clean enough and comfortable enough but not the best for a long term stay

Súper limpio, el bb personal de limpieza muy amable y un hostal muy céntrico en la mejor zona de Oaxaca

La estancia en las Américas es agradable , excepto el personal que carece de amabilidad, simpatía y buena vibra. Les haces una pregunta por siempre que sea y los recepcionistas muy cortantes e incluso se muestran molestos , pero eso sí si llega un extranjero de buen ver , entonces si son amables . Me he hospedado en las Américas en 4 ocasiones y las instalaciones y las limpieza es buena , así como su ubicación,pero que lastima que por la que actitud de su personal todo lo bueno se venga...

A very basic hostel with no atmosphere, very limited kichen space, and at most times a non-existent wifi connection. The street opposite the entrance is lined with bars which play music loudly until very late, and staff often open the doors into the dorms in the middle of the night to show guests the room for no reason(?) waking up the sleepers inside. Breakfast is good but the fruit plates are often left on the tables until a guest arrives, which leaves them to gather flies.

Pro : good and safe location close to cute cafes , very nice staff , good breakfast , clean kitchen , lockers , Cons: tiny dorm / no space, light in toilet wasn’t working , no door that separates bathroom from dorm so you could hear people getting ready for bed which is annoying if you want to sleep,

Se portaron muy bien conmigo y fueron comprensivos en una situación de enfermedad. Recomendable. También me dejaron cargar el teléfono y usar el baño una vez hecho el checkout. Volvería con gusto. Mi único comentario es que faltan un par de instrumentos de cocina y de limpieza para el baño (ej destapadores), pero gran experiencia en general

Everything was wonderful. Except my room was a little bit humid. The WiFi doesn't work in the terrace.
