Amazing place. Perfect if you just want to chill and enjoy the view!

a true rural gem, one of my favourite hostels. the owners and staff were extremely chatty and accommodating. the area is stunning with a fantastic view of a jungle marshland topped off with a sunset!!

I had a good time at Baan Mahasamut and it was one of the best stays I had in Thailand. The dorms are really cute, I met other travellers which was cool and the whole property in general is just awesome! Som is a nice host and always ready to help you out with renting a scooter or telling you about the good spots to visit. There is tons of things to explore in the area and I can highly recommend to go to the Nationalpark! If I came back some time I would definitely stay here again.

Truly a gem, very rarely I found such a good hostel before! The owners are kind and helpful, the volunteers are legends and make an amazing breakfast and last but not least the housekeeper/gardener keeps everything clean and tidy. Beds are comfortable, toilets are good, kitchen is amazing (feels like home to cook there) and there is a nice pool. The garden is beautiful and the area super quiet and secluded. There are motorbikes for rent and bicycles for free. Overall amazing. Thank you!

Superbe hostel proche de la mer, mais un peu loin de tout. Location de scooter sur place possible ! Merci pour l’endroit magnifique et les hôtes qui m’ont très bien accueilli ! Pour se ressourcer et passer un moment au calme : c’est l’endroit parfait !

Gorgeous! The perfect place to calm down for a few days

This place is basically heaven on earth! The swimming pool overlooking the mountains is a must! The shops and beach just are a few minutes away by bicycle.

This place is INSANE. Absolutely gorgeous and near all of the attractions in Sam Roi Yot NP. I could not recommend enough. Som and Peter are so kind and helpful as well!

We Stayed 3 nights in this beautiful guest house. It is located pretty far away from everything, so come prepared. if you look for action and party, you are definitely wrong here. This place is very quiet, in the middle of nowhere with a beautiful view. We loved the opportunity to take the bikes and explore the area. Som and Pieter were great hosts, they were very helpful! We would definitely come back - next time for more than just 3 nights :)

Baan Mahasamut was such a great find. It is in a lovely location, has great facilities and is ran with a lot of care. Perfect for a chill time with friends or family. The staff are great and I highly recommend staying here! Thanks for the great hospitality and for having me and my friends 😁

I stayed in the private dorm and had friends that stayed in the shared dorm and both bed rooms were comfortable cozy great environment and veiws and the staff go beyond to help you, they booked taxis for us got us peds and they even will do shopping for you, only 5 minutes from the beach and located next to a pineapple farm lovely for couples or people who want to chill out

Som, the owner, is wonderful. She gave me all the information needed to arrange my travel to and from the hostel, which was extremely helpful. The accommodation itself is beautiful, and the views are even more stunning. It’s an incredibly intimate and calm environment with access to bikes and the pool, as well as many local recommendations, which means that you’re always relaxed and never bored. I want to come back!

Cadre magnifique, personnel adorable, je ne peux que recommander ce lieu parfait pour ce ressourcer et explorer la beauté du parc. Il est difficile de partir une fois qu'on a découvert ce lieu unique!

If you're looking for a quiet, paradise- like place to just relax for a few days (or weeks) this is where you need to go! The Hostel is placed basically in the middle of nowhere, only surrounded by green. The staff is super friendly and they help you with renting scooters, organising trips and everything else you might want. There are some local food places around but you can also cook yourself in a beautiful open kitchen. Unfortunately the limit is 500 words otherwise I could go on and on...

amazing place, amazing people. the perfect place to catch a breath in busy thailand. feels a bit like a homestay, but then very luxurious with a lot of eye for detail. would 100% recommend!

Prachtig verblijf alhier, dat er zoiets nog bestaat,onbeschrijflijk. Zeer economische prijs in een prachtig splinternieuw verblijf/homestay . De locatie is uitzonderlijk , de stilte de rust en met uitzicht op een privé natuur reservaatje . De plaats werk zeer inspirerend voor kunstenaars en creatievelingen die hier trouwens meer dan welkom zijn. Mei Vinden ,een kunstenaar uit Gent ,is hier een paar maanden aan het werk . Ik ontmoette er een tatoeeerder uit Spanje, een fotograaf ,leuk gezelscha...

Séjour tres agréable, il n’y avait pas beaucoup de monde mais l’hôte est très sympa et arrangeant. Les chambres et toutes les parties communes sont très belles et propres, je recommande !

My favourite accommodation so far! The owner is so lovely and helpful, as-well as the volunteer staff. The entire place is incredibly clean, very modern and visually beautiful.
