Thomas, the landlord, is fantastic: always kind a full of good racomandations.

Very nice hostel near the beach, thoms is a great man and will help you with anything. I dont know why this place gets such a low rating. The only thibg is there are a lot of mosquitos. I would recommend this place!

Creepy place. Lack of hospitality.

For budget travellers this is a great option. It is close to the beach and there are some restaurants not too far away. Thom is super friendly and can arrange trips and tuktuks for you! No AC in the dorms so it gets hot but with the fans it's doable. Beds are quite hard, apart from that no complaints. We booked the backwater tour and had a really good time!

Thomas is really caring person with his lovely house and wife. I enjoyed stay at your hostel and everything was worth the value! if I ever be back in kerala, I know where to stay.

Perfect for backpackers wanting to visit Alleppey.

Thomas was such a great host. He helped us alot and made everything feel very homey. We even went to church with him and his wife, so sweet. Thank you for being so nice!

This hostel needs improvement. The sheets on the beds weren't clean and the rooms were very warm. The door wasn't fully sealed so we all woke up with a lot of mosquito bites. There wasn't really any chill out space other than a couple of chairs outside. The host was nice and gave us some suggestions of things to do but overall this hostel was not up to scratch compared with other hostels.

Buona camera a prezzo economico, anche se le lenzuola era un po' sporche. Thom è stato molto disponibile e il tour in canoa dei backwaters che ci ha proposto ha soddisfatto le nostre aspettative.

It was a very Nice stay. Thom was really helpful with everything. We liked it a lot.

Tom is a welcoming and knowledgeable host. He helped us with booking onward transport and was a pleasure to sit and talk with. His place is fairly basic but perfect for a night or 2 in Alleppey. We visited for the houseboat and spent a night prior to this. Tom also let us leave our luggage at his place whilst we spent a night in the house boat.

Close to the beach but far from restaurants The room can get very hot even with the fan on Host is very nice and gives a good price for backwaters tour as well as good suggestions

Thomas and his wife are very accommodating. Cant recommend this place enough!

I went there because nothing else was available but it is really worth the price. It is a basic dorm, with washroom, a kitchen is available and it is half the price of an hostel. Thomas is really nice and helpful. He will give you contacts for activities at local prices. The location is good, 5 minutes walk from the beach. Only issue is that it is close from the railway so it can be noisy occasionally when a train passes but there are few of them

Only one bathroom for 12 bed dorm, no running at times, no soap. Dorms doesn't have AC which is must in such a hot climate. Lockers are not easily accessible and can only be used with a small pad lock.

Thom was a very welcoming and helpful host who always invited us to sit down for a chat. He even shared Christmas plum cake with us in Christmas day! Also, he arranged a great canoe trip for us. The only negative is it is right by a large road and there are major (noisy and dusty) roadworks at the moment but you couldn't be closer to the beach.

Great value for money. Dorms are good. The best thing about this place is the host. Mr Thomas will help you with everything you need and is just a genuine nice guy. Recommend!

It is ok for the price. Especialy because Thomas, the host, was helpfull and welcoming and arrange me a nice morning tour on the back watters. However I did not feel that safe as a solo traveler and the room and bathroom could be cleaner.
