Excellent stay, very safe, central location, wonderful hosts.
Reymond is an absolute legend! If you’re in the area stay here! Good value, amazing breakfast. We all ate tougher like a family it was wonderful! We had extra labenah it’s so good! The house is nice, it was clean and comfortable, rey will tell you everything you need to know about the area, in winter there’s skiing , he’s got an atv and 4x4 and could take you to some nice places if you want. I hiked the highest mountain in Lebanon from his place. Free parking outside the house
Cozy wooden lodge, the shared terrace has a lovely view. The host prepares a very tasty breakfast and can give plenty of recommendations. He was very welcoming, we felt like home. Great accommodation to explore the surroundings!
Great hospitality
Amazing place in Bcharre, Raymond and his family are very welcoming and thoughtful. It feels like home here.
My friends and I stayed here during our trek on the Lebanon Mountain Trail. The hostel was easy to find, and everyone was extraordinarily kind. The breakfast was AMAZING! I wish I could have stayed longer!
Perfect house in Bcharre. Comfortable space, great for relaxing. And great hikes nearby. Lovely hosts.
Great stay. Amazing staff. Cozy, clean, comfy beds. If you’re on the top bunk, it might feel a bit unstable. Excellent breakfast and they can give you recs on things to do. Can park on street or lot for free.
Really good place to stay in lebanese mountains close from a lot of points of interest around Bcharre (Cedars, Holy Valley, mountains, Tripoli and Baalbeck) Lovely staff and the owner is very helpfull ! Amazing breakfast feeling like a home. Highly recommanded !
Hostel familiar muy tranquilo, ideal para visitar la zona.
The VLB has good location and nice atmosphere. The owner is nice. I arrived on Sunday, dorm with 6 beds not set. Only my bed. Monday they cleaned and set up the dorm. Price ok. Good breakfast. Nice terrace.
Had a really nice time here :)
Absolutely amazing staff! Very friendly and kind. My partner was sick and they offered her medication and anything else she may have needed. Breakfast is delicious, beds comfy, linens clean. They're updating the inside with a mural--excited to see how it turns out! Would have liked a toilet seat and a hand towel in the bathroom but would stay here again and recommend to others!
This was the best experience I have ever had staying in any accommodation. The family running the hotel are the warmest, kindest most accommodating people hosts I’ve ever had. When in Bcharri I highly recommend staying here.
Really great place. We really liked the staff!
The place is located near the center of Bcharré and is a nice little chalet made of wood. The beds do not have top sheets (only the bottom one and a blanket) which apparently is a thing here in Lebannon. The breakfast was great and Raymond was very helpful, he even offered to taxi us to our next place.
El dueño es muy amable. Nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Nos aportaron mucha informacion. Hay una ventana con vista a la montaña que enamora. Sumamente recomendable.
I was a bit surprised with all the good reviews, but this place definitely is worth all the good comments! I went for a night and decided to extend it to two. Raymond offers his house and hospitality with open arms. That day his family was visiting, and the ambience couldn't be more welcoming and cozy! We had coffee and baked potatoes (traditional snack apparently!!) with his daughters and in-laws, truly a great getaway with genuinely good people!!
very happy with my stay here. I just happened to be the only person here for 2 days and the owner drove me around the town and the mountain, charged me a cheap taxi rate to show me around. good homemade breakfast too
I had the most beautiful time in Bacharré and choosing View Lodge Hostel was the best I could do. The house is really nice, clean and you can enjoy amazing views from the terrace, rooftop or inside. The homemade breakfast (from organic and self-grown vegetables and eggs from the owners own chicken) was the best I had in whole Lebanon. What makes this place even more special is the hospitality of Raymond, the hostel owner, and his daughter Teresa. It felt like staying at friend's house.
