Sehr schönes Hostel im Herzen von Taganga. Wunderschöner Sonnenuntergang auf der Rooftop Bar ! Die Besitzer und die Volunteer sind auch sehr herzlich und geben einem ein familäres Gefühl. Würde immer wieder kommen
+ Good location, nice vibe as well and I love the turtles.
- The rooms are quite hot, I slept in the upper bed of the bunk beds, and the fan can’t reach there, so didn’t sleep so good, also the beds are very shaky.

El persona fue muy amable, sin embargo si le falta seguridad al hostal y a las habitaciones. No te dan llaves para entrar al cuarto porque este mantiene sin llave, las ventanas se abren y el ventilador no esta bien ubicado para refrescar el cuarto. La llegada al lugar es a través de una calle destapada en subida que desde la playa puede sentirse insegura en la noche.
L'hostel sympa dans l'ensemble, avec une très belle vue sur la mer pour voir le coucher de soleil. Mais manque d'équipement dans les chambres : pas de rideaux, pas d'eau chaude, pas d'échelle pour monter sur le lit du dessus...
pool was dirty and not well kept, no atmosphere despite a strong potential to be a fun hostel, probably due to low season. neighbors blasted music at 6:30am, not the hostel fault, but that defied the purpose of choosing a more remote hostel to avoid loud music from the beachfront
Cool place, they have a great location near the center of town but a bit offside, so it is quiet. All is overall clean, perfect to hang out for a few days

We stayed at La Tortuga Hostel and had the best time! The staff is very warm and welcoming, we felt very much at home. One of us also did a diving refreshers course with Mona, which was such an incredible experience. After not having done scuba diving for a long time, it felt like a big step to get back into it but Mona is so patience and calm and she made it into an unforgettable experience. We’re both very grateful for our stay and would definitely return. Can 10/10 recommend !
Tolles Hostel in perfekter Lage in Taganga! Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, entspannte Atmosphäre und alles super gepflegt. Taganga selbst ist ein schönes kleines Dörfchen und das Hostel passt perfekt dazu. Ein großes Plus ist die sehr gute Tauchschule direkt im Hostel – absolut empfehlenswert. Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen!

- El lugar tranquilo relajante
+ Me encantó mi estadía en La Tortuga. El ambiente es muy acogedor, perfecto para relajarse y también para conocer a otros viajeros. Las zonas comunes son cómodas y bien cuidadas, especialmente la piscina y la terraza, que tiene una vista increíble del mar y los atardeceres. La ubicación es ideal: a pocos minutos caminando de la playa de Taganga, pero lo suficientemente apartado para estar tranquila en las noches. El personal fue muy amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar, ya sea con recomendaciones, reservas de tours o simplemente para una buena conversación. La limpieza estuvo bien y las instalaciones en general están bien mantenidas.
+ El hostal es fabuloso! Tiene una piscina y un jardín muy fresco. Queda cerca a la playa, en una zona tranquila. Los empleados son muy atentos, siempre dispuestos a ayudar! El hostal tiene un acuerdo con Tortuga diving y puedes hacer buceo con ellos, son los mejores! La habitación estaba limpia y tenía ventilador. Sin dudas volveré!
+ The best thing I did was leave this place and move to another hotel — even though I had to pay double because there was no refund. Totally worth it.
- Very bad experience. The sheets were dirty, the mattresses old and full of springs, and they even charge you to refill your water bottle. The neighbors’ music was so loud it was impossible to sleep. Worst of all, they took my belongings out of two rooms before check-out without my permission. Even though I had two more nights paid, I preferred to leave and lose the money. Definitely not recommended.
+ Lo mejor fue que me fui de este lugar.
- Muy mala experiencia. Las sábanas sucias, los colchones viejos con los resortes salidos y cobran incluso por rellenar una botella de agua. La música de los vecinos no deja dormir. Lo peor: sacaron mis cosas de dos habitaciones antes del check-out sin permiso. Aunque ya tenía dos noches pagadas, preferí irme y perder el dinero. No lo recomiendo.
