Customer service needs to improve and staff training needs to improve and the upkeep of the property needs to be improved. Too many animals around the property. The hot water system needs to be improved as it was very bad out of 30 days we had 7 days of on and off hot water. Consistently asking for towels sheets toilet tissue out of 30 day twice they cleaned the room and we ended up purchasing our own mop because their mops was dirty. The owner needs to know how to speak to the client

Décu, le petit déjeuné n'est pas compris sur la réservation comme indiqué sur la description. La patronne des lieux est agressive, j'ai d'ailleurs écourté mon séjour. Les employés eux sont très agréables et à l'écoute contrairement à la propriétaire des lieux.

I like to try and be fair the best I can but this hostel is a bit rough. From having the guard keep hustling me to buy weed from him and getting angry when not and having an overall uninviting feeling the entire time. Good notes are they let me pay for the first two nights and the rest later when I had the cash. Also hot showers were good. Also it’s Jamaica and it’s probably not the easiest there to run a hostel.

I arrived late Saturday and my impression was that the staff more than anything else saw me as a nuisance. The place was filthy. There were few guests - most mean looking single males. As a solo traveling female, I would stay far away from this place. The dorm facilities were fine, though the kitchen and bathroom were disgusting. I will be back in Kingston but never again to this place.

Nice, clean room and all the facilities you need. The price was great for the room we got. Perfect location, even had a nice pool area. The staff were all good. Will definitely be staying again when I need to come Kingston.

Très pratique pour les petits budgets à condition de ne pas être regardant sur l'hygiène (évacuation douche bouchée, eau de la pisicne avec grosses touffes de cheveux qui flottent). La pisicne reste le point fort de cette auberge même si l'eau ni est pas très rafraichissante. Le personnel est adorable hormis malheureusement la propriétaire qui n'est vraiment pas professionnelle.

Place had no water ...i had to wash at someine elses house....i couldnt stay another night wuth 32 degree weather and no water, the owner was not happy and was being difficult...i got refund for 2nd night ...i shud off had refund for both nights and i will be requesting this.

Hice mi reserva con desayuno incluido supuestamente, al hacer mi solicitud en front desk me enseñaron que a ellos no se les mostraba el desayuno incluido, lo cual yo si lo tengo marcado en mi reservación, en fin, era entrar en una discusión sin fin porque eran dos noches y dos personas, en total 4 desayunos, los cuales no obtuve ninguno. Se me hace un precio caro para un hostal en donde me pidieron un depósito por adelantado y a la hora de mi check in me cobraron más de lo que mostraba la ...

Terrible, awful wifi. This hostel buys the cheapest possible internet package and all guests are on the same network! Couldn’t get a signal in my room! Non-existent front desk staff and my room wasn’t cleaned once during my 6-night stay!

Ok for the money. I was disrespected by security. He was very rude and disrespectful, because he did not understand my English. The Owner was nice and accommodating. I would rent again if I had business in Kingston, Jamaica.

This was a nice place to stay. They could have had a better fan in the room as it was quite hot at night.

I had rented a car for my week in Jamaica and was so thankful that I was able to park the car inside the compound, as I had heard how dangerous Kingston is and I would worry if it was parked out on the street. I did feel safe with someone at the gate until dark and it was locked after that. The room was as advertised and a good value for the price. It was clean and had water pressure and hot water(!) The Asian man behind the bar/front desk who took our payment was not so welcoming.

It was nice, low season so not many people. We liked the pool, the hostel could have been cleaner. We loved Carl, the guy at the door, he was so nice and helpful !

Where do I start with this place. The owner/host is diabolical, trying to get a bit of information about what’s around the hostel is like trying to get blood from a stone. The rooms smell and the lock didn’t work on my door so she eventually moved me to another room but turned off the power to the air conditioning so I couldn’t use it. I’d recommend staying somewhere else.

Outside is ok, but dorms are small and they don t clean it, in the kitchen there was no fork no spoon to eat, we eat with a big knife. And the owner and the staff are not welcoming at all, you can t ask anything to them, if you wanna party or wanna visit something, they don t help you to find anything interesting around. When we arrive, we have to wait for the person who has the machine for paiement by card, they just said she is still eating so wait, we wait like 15mn.

Room was good, everything is a clean, good wifi, but free breakfast included, doesn't exist.

The hostel is down a side road near the busiest parts of Kingston. If you book online make sure you call ahead to check that they have your reservation! It was a solid spot for the price, honestly (I stayed in the $15/night rooms). The space felt pretty safe too - there's a gate, secure walls and 24 hour security guard. I would stay here again!
