Tsetan Guest House

Rooms were always clean and the delicious home made meals were enjoyed communally with other guests who felt like family. Tsetan is always happy to help organise any required permits, taxis or tours and is a great guy to speak to if you have any questions at all about the area. We had an absolutely incredible stay with Tsetan and his family, we’d definitely recommend staying here. ❤️

Great experience. Tsetan and his family are very heartwarming, making the stay very confortable. The homemade food was also excellent. The property is neat and clean and had a fresh ambience.

Tsetan and his family are the warmest and most welcoming people we’ve met on our trip. They took care of us and our needs better than we ever imagined possible. The guesthouse is homey, clean and comfortable. There is an option for great daily breakfast and dinner, and Tsetan has his own travel agency which makes the place more convenient. We only booked a few nights in this guesthouse and eventually stayed for three weeks. I warmly recommend staying here!!

Nothing to complain about. Everything was perfect ! The welcome, the atmosphere, the cleanliness of the place, the dinners offered in the evening (the best momos in Ladakh). It's impossible not to give a 10/10 !

A rare gem! You will live amongst their family and experience ladakhi life at its purest. The host and his family toured us around different treks and treated us extremely well. Although the facilities are a bit less than a hotel, they’re more than sufficient. Thanks Tsetan!

I stayed here on 28-29 Sept, and found the location to be extremely remote and far, that without a bike or taxi, one just cannot reach here. The Google maps location is also a maze. While Tsetan was very courteous and ultra helpful, I was hoping to find a vibe of backpackers, only to be greeted with a 30 member Indian family of Uncles and Aunties. This is probably due to my dates being end of season time. Would I stay here again - maybe not, unless I have friends staying here. Super clean btw!!

Lovely guest house ran by an amazing family. Excellent value for money, really clean, Ladakhi vibe, and Tsetan is always willing to help with anything. Bit out of the center but it’s very peaceful and is exactly the vibe you want for Leh.

10/10 for incredible value. I’m not sure a city person so I actually appreciated that it was slightly out of the way and in a greener part of the city. Beats the other options for value and quality.

Had a booking and they sent me to a different guesthouse. Then the staff were very difficult when I wanted my deposit back. Looks lovely if you actually get to stay here.

LOVE this hostel !!! They provide dinner for the guests if you ask and it’s so nice to have a communal dinner all together. It means being a bit far out of town doesn’t matter (only 30 min walk anyway). The owner is so lovely and the flower garden is breathtaking. Would 10000% recommend if you want to meet people, eat good food, have a hot shower and sleep v well.

Tsetan and his family were lovely to stay with. They are thoughtful and caring and will help you out with whatever you need. The house is situated up the river (so a 20 minute walk to the central part of Leh). This made it feel closer to nature and away from shops/hustle (though you can still get to shops easily). Tsetan's mum also makes really delicious and healthy dinners which you can purchase cheaply for part of your stay. Other travellers there are diverse (age/nationality) and cool.

Great place to stay in Leh. Tsetan is very helpful in accommodating any traveler’s needs. The family is very welcoming. The property has a wide range of types of stay (different rooms, dorms). Central common area in the garden creates nice atmosphere which makes people keep coming back. Highly recommended!

This is like ataying in a family home. It is peaceful and friendly - thanks in part to "no alcohol or parties". This will always be my home in Leh!
