It's a reasonable hostel, they are owned by another hostel just down the road, so it means that other than checking in you don't see any staff other than for cleaning as there is no member of staff on the premises. They do give free tea and coffee and there is a nice size eating area. The only down sides are if you are in the room on the ground floor, the bottom beds get really cold because of lack of insulation around the concrete blocks next to the beds, and the showers are only warm not ho...
I had a very pleasant stay. Staff were friendly, the space was clean and quiet. I recommend it!
Stayed at Sharin for one week and it is well located, not far from the train station and walking distance (20-30mins) from attractions. The staff were amazing, friendly and always provided greats tips.

No tienen empleados en el hotel, hay que hacer el check in en otro a dos cuadras y recién abre a las 16 horas. La ducha está dentro de la pieza y resulta incómodo. El.sistema de ingreso a las habitaciones es precario y si entra un boludo activa la alarma Muy fácilmente. Sería más fácil una tarjeta o algo que los boludos puedan hacer. El precio es relativamente bajo, a priori, pero luego te das cuenta que al no ofrecer nada, podría decirse que barato no es. Lo único bueno es la ubicació...

Schönes kleines Hostel. Angenehmes 4er Zimmer. Grundsätzlich sauber, jedoch müsste das Hostel mal aufgeräumt werden. In der Bar stand überall viel Zeug rum und es gab keine Küche. Es gab auch keine Messer oder Löffel oder Teller. Das fand ich sehr schade.

Located a few blocks away from the train station and a couple away from downtown. The staff walked us over to the guesthouse and explained the facilities to us. The rooms were clean though the futons were a little thin. If staying in Kanazawa, I would recommend

Had an amazing stay at SHARIN!! The beds are really comfortable and the location is unbeatable
Close to train station, helpful staff - very diligent with helping to answer questions, small so easy to talk to other travelers but also depends on the people who are there. The showers are really close to sleeping area, felt like morning showers would end up disturbing people.
