Ive stayed here a few times now, and every time this place is incredible, the staff is SO welcoming and helpful, they make me feel like part of the family! The free breakfast is unreal, so filling and yummy. They offer daily activities from the winery to cliff jumping at prekal and every event is well organized so I didnt have to stress about what to do while i’m there! Beds are comfy and the place is beautiful with murals everwhere. Every time i’m in shkoder I plan to come back here!
Great hostel, the volunteers make you feel like part of one big group of friends! Also the activity were great for an ealry start to summer (swimming at the messy bridge, sunset, winery..) Very comfy beds and well located, not too far from the bus stops, the city center or all the shops. Definitely the hostel to go to when passing by Shkoder!

My favorite hostel ive ever stayed at! They helped me organise my trip to thêth and shala river, they took care of everything from transportation to accommodation and Even stored my bag for me! The included breakfast is insane, cooked by a Lovely Albanian lady! The hostel staff made me feel right at home, theyre all extremley kind and I made Life long friends, spécial shoutout to Sydney who is absolutley amazing and extremley helpful! 10/10 want to come back and stay again!

Amazzzing hostel, great atmosphere with a beautiful outdoor area, everyone was so friendly and welcoming & awesome daily activities and pub crawls as well. Super clean and cozy with fun murals painted everywhere too! I can't wait to come back, thank you again!!! 🫶🏼
Had the best time here! The staff was wonderful! Especially Grizzly Bea, definitely recommend asking her about her life! So cool! This hostel honestly was a favorite of mine, can’t wait to come back again!
The Galley is an absolute wonderful hostel for any solo traveler. The staff do a phenomenal job on making you fell at home. There are tons of daily activities and great bar crawls to meet other people and have a great time.
Absolutely loved our stay here, immediately felt at home thanks to the amazing staff. Every single person contributes to ensuring a relaxed/fun environment doing the most to show us a good time (Big Mike, Sydney, Hayden, Luke, Bea, Ishan, Megan, Papi and Cosmin). They’ve organised amazing day trips and booze-full nights. The Theth hike and trip to winery were experiences we are so grateful this hostel could give us. I loved my experience, really changed some perspectives on things. Great staff, everyone was great. Cosmin, Sydney, BigMike, Luke, Hayden, Papi, Shpresa and even the cook. I had an awesome time in that hostel. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. I was sad to leave, but I’ll definitely be back! Really clean and beds were comfortable. Family dinners and drinking games are so fun. Great for solo or group travellers!
Great social hostel with a lot of organised events to make friends and go on adventures. If you're interested in doing day tours/hikes, I'd recommend messaging them first to make sure the trails are open as some things can be closed early season (I went in early Apr - some moto rental places and hiking trails were closed). I came solo and left with lifelong friends and memories, would recommend.
Amazing and kind staff, felt so welcomed and safe! SO knowledable and helpful wth every question we had! Helped us with plans, places to eat, and booked our Theth trip for us. AMAZING! Thank you so much to the staff!

An amazing experience at one of the most amazing hostels I've ever been while traveling, there was no a single moment that i had nothing to do, how the hostel manage to keep you busy with fun and amazing activities it's crazy i will always comeback.

It has been a pleasure to celebrate the season ending with the Galley Hostel this year! Shout out to its lovely staff, especially Dani and Sydney, who made sure I hade the best time ever there! ;) If you look for some crazy parties and to connect with open minded backpackers, this is the place be! My highlight was for sure the day trip to the Kantina winery, I’ll never forget about this wholesome experience. I can’t wait to be back next year.
Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Even though it was coming to the end of the season it was still socialable, I want to come back in the summer when it's full. The free breakfast was amazing.
