A great stay and very clean hostel. Staff were lovely and the location was great. Only downside were the creaky floors which make it impossible to be quiet which caused annoyance with other guests when leaving early otherwise great. Would stay again.
All you need for stay, great location, nice staff. shared bathroom for all but was clean, kitchens acts as a social space as there is not much else, majority if the people are there for hiking, so most went to bed early. Road and general noise sensitive but earplugs do the job.
Great hostel. Very convenient, centrally located, great fully equipped kitchen and outside terrace. Comfortable beds with enough privacy Only minus points: squicky floors (but that’s normal for such a beautiful old building) and mosquitoes in the bathroom But will come back. Best one in Funchal
Great hostel, close to city centre. The staff were lovely and allowed us to check in early as we had to drop our hire car back off. Communal areas were always kept clean and tidy.
