The are dorms and privat rooms, you can hang our at the rooftip bar. You can get an ACAP permit here, as well as book adventures or bus tickets. The people working here are professionals, very friendly, helpful, and organized. Overall this hostel gives positive vibes and descent quality for good price.
Not the best hostel I've stayed at but not the worst either. You get what you pay for
After coming back from the APC I was quite sick with food poisoning and embarrassingly had a small uncontrollable accident with the sheets in my bed. I alerted the staff and they were quite rude about the experience They immediately and without sympathy informed me I would be charged for the sheets and exploited my sickness for a profit. I was rudely treated and charged 4000r for the accident. They would not reason with discussion after I expressed concern over the exploited price. Bad dharma.
very crowded and messy dorm, bathroom not clean. breakfast was disappointing with a little bowl of cornflakes with warm milk. owners are kind people.
Great place to stay in Pokhara ! The managers are really kind and funny ! The rooftop is nice with a nice view on the Annapurna when the weather is less cloudy. The dorms are clean, with hot water ! And the single room is also really nice to stay in. I recommend the place
I would say it’s a decent hostel. Its a good location, and the staff was helpful. However the place is really old. When it was raining the water was running in from the balcony door into my room, so much my shoes got socked. Also there is no vibe at all.
Cleanliness and all the basic necessities provided with very good standard. Staff was always eager to help even with the little things. Shoutout to Argav, slesh and Ruben!
Staff were really friendly and very helpful, willing to help with anything. Rooms and amenities are very basic, and didn’t get cleaned over the few days I was there. Overall a good place to stay and close to everything, but not very social.
It was an ok stay here, nothing special. Unfortunately I don’t think many people choose this hostel in Pokhara, so it was pretty much completely quiet and impossible to meet people when I stayed. I also felt that it was quite dirty, especially as the other beds in my room were left unmade with trash over them from whoever stayed before me, and these were never cleaned and bins were never emptied during my stay, so I have no idea how long it might have been since they last actually cleaned.
This was a great budget hostel in a really good location. Every morning it was easy for me to walk from the hostel to the museums or sites I wanted to see and the hostel was big enough there was always a good number of fellow travelers to interact with.
très bien placé, prix accessible, personnel sympathique. Pourrait être repeinturé ici et là ;)
We had a nice stay at Dharma Backpackers. The hostel is very nicely located at lakeside and the staff were great. We would have liked a locker in our room (double deluxe ensuite), but other than that the room was nice!
The hospitality I received at Dharma backpackers was amazing. Made some good friends here and with the staff especially. The staff here are very polite and fun to be around. It is also a little bit away from the bars so it’s nice and quiet.
Very good hostel for solo backpackers near lake side Pokhara.
Dharma Backpackers Hostel in Pokhara is where adventure and tranquility meet. Evenings buzz with fantastic vibes, thanks to the brother behind the bar, whose stories and energy turn strangers into friends. Mornings are filled with the warmest smiles from the cook, whose kindness matches the soul-nourishing breakfasts. It’s more than a hostel – it’s a home for wanderers, where every moment feels like a shared story, and every face reflects the spirit of the journey.
We were disappointed with the hostel. The room was moldy and the receptionists didn’t speak enough English/ were not motivated to help us. There was not really a hostel atmosphere. The breakfast was good
Quiet hostel, very safe, comfortable beds
Located in beautiful Lakeside, Pokhara, Dharma perfectly blends value with comfort and with community. The staff is incredibly friendly and its common areas are inviting and cozy. With an on-site coffee bar and included breakfast, I was quite comfortable during my stay with Dharma. Additionally, the room I booked was spacious and far bigger than usual for private rooms I had seen in Nepal. I highly recommend this property to the trekker, the socialite, and the digital nomad alike. 10/10.
Staff were super friendly. They included me in their festival celebration, making me feel like part of their family - a memory I will hold dear for always. Beds were really comfortable, had some great nights sleep. Rooms were cleaned daily. Fantastic location, perfect for lake access and shopping. Beautiful outside chill out area and upstairs roof top view. Excellent value for money with breakfast included (banana, croissant, egg and tea...), making for an energising start for the day!
Great hostel, very clean, great location. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Right in front of a scooter rental place which is super convenient
