I really enjoyed my stay here. Contacted the owners ahead of time that I was running late to checkin due to my late flights. They texted me with all the info needed to self check-in. Stayed in 6 bed dorm, only 4 ppl were there including myself. Room was spacious! with good amenities (shoe rack, cold AC, mini fridge, plenty of windows letting in light and air, closet, lockers, in-room bathroom with toilet paper/blowdryer! I was very impressed with the room compared to other hostels in the area.
Shared room: tiny, smelly with no proper ventilation and homeless people living there. I talked to the managers they did nothing. One only toilet available for six people. No extra restrooms at the hotel. The AC works terribly wrong. Good thing is when having some issues (like they closed the kitchen and I needed, they helped me with that) and when I cancelled the booking, they gave me the money back from the days I cancelled. No elevator, Hair Dryer did not work as it was European, Convection Oven did not work, no place to park economically, Car window was bashed into and car was vandalized out in front of hotel costing me $2,000.00...People showed up on Saturday at 1 AM....left, and then came back causing people in the room not being able to sleep until the lights were turned out at 3 00 A.M. Libra Hotel somewhat ruined my stay in Los Angeles. Can't recover my personal items.
Very barebones, worst offender is the heater didn't work and the provided blankets pretty much meant you were sleeping in your clothes to stay warm on a cooler night. We both slept pretty horribly. Expect lots of noise, windows and walls are paper thin.

la ubicación estaba bien pero no era como en las fotos. Estoy acostumbrada a otros hostels donde te dan dos sábanas, candado con un espacio seguro para tu maleta y donde todo está mas limpio y cuidado. no obstante, la cama era comoda, me ofrecieron candado por 2$, y me dejafon hacer check in cuando me vino bien. Pero mi sensación general no fue del todo buena.
DO NOT STAY HERE ! feels like a homeless shelter, terrible atmosphere, not for travellers. The whole place smells horrendous too, my and the others in my room couldn't figure out what it smelt of, feels like its just in the walls. No hob or proper oven in the kitchen, which closes at 8.30pm and only opens at 9am, felt a bit inconvenient. Absolutely worth spending a little more and staying elsewhere, was so miserable here.
Great location, clean and spacious private room. The laundry facility and the kitchen close at night. Secure luggage storage after check-out costs $20, which seems excessive, or you can leave luggage in the rack at the end of the hallway (unsupervised).
El ambiente es más como Hotel ya que no hay cocina o áreas comunes, pero eso no lo hace malo. Las camas son cómodas y la ubicación es excelente a una calle del metro y estaciones de bus que conectan con todo LA. Las instalaciones son limpias y me pareció un muy buen lugar para pasar la noche!
Super convenient location and very friendly staff! The price for this place is amazing, especially because of how central it is. Rooms were huge and clean, there was shampoo/conditioner and body wash in the bathroom, there was a big TV and air conditioning! The room was bigger than we expected and it was really nice having a private room. The walls are pretty thin to just be aware of your volume when staying here and try to be considerate of others. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location, security is ok. Pretty easy to check in. The staff stayed in one section of the hotel. Not a lot of extra amenities, but the rooms were like hotel rooms. Each had an air conditioner and TV. The rooms were very clean. Kitchen could have been better. Did not have an elevator that I saw. Overall the stay was pretty quiet, I had some loud neighbors one night and they were doing karaoke for some reason. I would probably stay here again.
