Lana Land Homestay Phu Quoc

Really lovely hostel with free drinking water, lots of plants, very friendly family and great breakfast (with vegan options!)

Nice place to relax with hammocks and seating area. Only a few minutes walk to the Main Street with lots of restaurants and the breakfast place where you can get a free breakfast (food&drink). Also close to the beach so good location overall to explore the island. Beds were really comfortable with curtains, power outlet and locker. Would have liked to stay longer but they were all booked up. Would definitely come here again :)

Good off grid Hostel, Breakfast is at Mainstreet restaurant called La Place, super nice Food. Everything very basic but good to chill and relax.

Lana en haar man zijn lief, maar je ziet ze niet veel. Haar tuin met hangmatten ziet er leuk uit, maar de douches/wc’s zijn enorm vies/oud. Er lopen kakkerlakken en kikkers en in mijn kamer zaten ook beesten die je snachts hoort. Ik heb het idee dat ze niet schoonmaken daar. De oma liep elke keer weg als ik iets aan haar wilde vragen en kwam niet vriendelijk over. Er zitten leuke restaurantjes op loopafstand, maar naar de main road is een stukje lopen en de weg naar Lana land is afgesloten.

No lock on the door, humid and musty room, bathroom facilities is way lower than my expectations, didn’t feel like taking a shower, lots of insects in the bathrooms as well cause it’s an open sullution. Breakfast is actually really good but it’s a few minutes walk from the homestay. For a solo backpacker it feels very secluded

The woman was lovely however the showers and bathrooms were outside and there were bugs and spiders everywhere. The room didn’t lock and when I arrived I was the only one there. I saw one other person the whole 12ish hours I was there. There’s no common area and it’s far from everything. The room itself smelt weird and there again was bugs everywhere and I could hear everything happening outside and there were kids screaming and running around when I was trying to sleep.

Beste Unterkunft in der wir in Vietnam waren! Es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir eine ganze Woche geblieben sind. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und groß. Im dazugehörigen Restaurant von Lana bekommt man jeden Morgen ein Frühstück, gegen Aufpreis auch mit Extrawünschen. Die ganze Familie ist uns in der Woche sehr ans Herz gewachsen und wir werden unsere Zeit hier noch lange in Erinnerung behalten.

Expérience formidable chez Lana ! J'y ai séjourné seule il y a 1 mois. La famille est adorable et d’une extrême gentillesse ! Rien n’est très authentique à Phu Quoc et c’est le rare lieu de l'île où je me suis vraiment sentie au Vietnam ! Ma chambre était très belle et très propre !! Lana, sa tante et son mari ont été formidables avec moi ! Son mari fait un pain delicieux que vous pourrez goûter au petit déjeuner ! Pour la française que je suis, je mets un 10/10 !

Lana was an absolutely fantastic host, incredibly kind and very helpful. Her restaurant down the street is also excellent for grabbing breakfast or lunch.

Lana and her family rock! The hostel is a quiet tucked away little compound, but isn't far from lots of food and fun. Our room was tasteful and tidy. The breakfast option is a meal at Lana's restaurant down the road- highly recommend. The island itself is intriguing and has lots to offer, especially if you can rent a motor bike and step away from the heavily touristed areas.

I stayed there for a few nights. First in a dorm but then I upgraded to a single room. When I got food poisening -from somewhere else- they brought me medicine and little snacks. They were really nice and helped me out quite a bit. I will probably visit again.

Nice rooms and decent showers/toilets. Most expensive hostel we had in Vietnam (but still best price in Phu Quoc that we could find). No proper social spaces. Close to good restaurants and short walk to beaches. The owner was friendly and showed genuine interest in our plans and offered advice for how to make our trips cheaper and more enjoyable.

My 10 nights at Lana Land was a home from home. Lana, Thanh and the wonderful Aunty Thuy are the loveliest people you could wish to meet; they are the heart and soul of the hostel. So kind, helpful, friendly and fun, they made my stay very special The hostel is really chilled out and relaxing and in a great location, lovely and peaceful but just a short walk to everything you need, and the food at La Place is delicious. Lana's Homestay is wonderful. I had a private room, and it was everything I wanted: privacy and a private bathroom, but still the opportunity to have some social contact with other people who stay in the dorms and other rooms. The breakfast at Lana's restaurant a couple of minutes down the road is lovely, the entire family is super helpful and friendly, and the area has some nice restaurants and minimarkets. Also, the nearby beach is wonderful to catch some sunsets and hang out!

Sehr sauber. Nur 15 minute zum Strand und 10 minuten zur Hauptstraße, wo sehr viele Essenslokale waren. Wir wurden sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit empfangen. Die Hausbesitzerin ist zwar mit ihrem Lokal immer sehr beschäftig, aber hilft trotzdem bei allen arten von Anliegen wie Transfer und Ausflüge. Das hostel ist definitiv weiterzuempfehlen!!
