I had a great stay at this hostel in La Fortuna and would highly recommend it, especially for solo travelers. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always happy to chat, which made me feel very welcome traveling alone. They gave great recommendations for tours in La Fortuna, as well as helpful tips for my next travel destinations. @Flora (@George) The hostel was well equipped, clean, and had a really welcoming atmosphere. I felt very comfortable here and would definitely stay again!

Staying here definitely added to my experience here! They offer so many activities which makes it super helpful and the hostel itself is so homey. The kitchen is wonderful, the common spaces are fun to hangout in, the hammock and terrace was my favorite. Flor was so helpful with signing up for el canyon jurasico it was the best experience I’m so glad I did that! So friendly and kind felt like family!

We stayed at the Argdivan hostel for six nights and really enjoyed our time. There were many activities that were easy to book through the hostel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, especially Flori who gave us many suggestions on activities to do which turned out to be the highlight of our time in La Fortuna. The hostel felt very safe and had really nice areas to be social or relax with a view of the Arenal Volcano.

El lugar muy acogedor y bonito. El personal que atiende muy amable, preocupado, son excelentes 20000/10. Las habitaciones limpias, el baño impecable. Las áreas comunes bien equipadas y full limpieza

In a great location with great workers who are super kind and willing to help you with that you need and recommend things for you to do :) especially Aron, Flor, and George. Would definitely stay again!

I cannot explain how good of a time I had here. This obviously depends on the other guests, but it was SO social and I met so many people. I had the absolute best time here. The staff were amazing, it’s also nice that they offer tours/transportation. Restrooms are nice, beds are ok. It does suck that they charge you more when you use colones though (they convert $1 -> 490 colones) and it’d be nice if they had some games like fussball or pool, but overall, AMAZING experience.

Had a great time in Argdivan. From the beginning it felt comfortable. It is not too big, and there are many chill spots. The kitchen is big too and convenient. The beds and dorms are also excellent. Special thanks to the volunteers who made me feel even more welcome. Flore: thank you so much 🙏 she was so helpfull and kind.

This is a great hostel. Super easy to meet others, I love how much excursions they offer and they’re cheaper than the tours you find online. Biggest downside was the AC, I was in a 4 person dorm no AC & the large fan was unplugged from the ceiling🥲 hands down probably best hostel I’ve stayed at though I would book the larger dorms as those have AC

One of the best hostels I've visited. I love the home-y vibe which made it super easy to socialize with people, and in particular Flor who worked there hosted some great games and got everyone involved! The staff are also always there to help you book excursions which was super handy

A great place to stay in La Fortuna. The staff and volunteers were amazing and really helpful when we made our itinerary for the days we spend in town. Especially Flo were amazing and helped us a lot. The rooms have AC which isn’t that necessary, but a nice to have. The common rooms were very nice especially with the hostel being located on a smaller street but still close to everything. Me and my friend really enjoyed our time here and would totally recommend it to others :)

Very good and social hostel. Well equipped kitchen, beautiful terrace and nice vibe. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and particularly Flor that held many fun activities (e.g. trivia night) and gave us very useful info :)

The hostel Argdivan is an amazing place to meet people, do activities and explore La Fortuna. I met such wonderful people there and the staff was always very helpful and friendly! In particular Floriana was an amazing host, she organized games during the evening and she gave me so many recommendations and tips for my trip in Costa Rica. It was great getting to know her and to spend some time with her!

Akane was really helpful and kind and took me to see many animals such as sloths and iguanas. Arigato 😃

Had a super comfortable 2 nights stay at Argdivan hostel. The beds and showers are absolutely top-tier for a hostel. Kitchen has pretty much everything you need (not the biggest though). Breakfast was included in our rate and it was very good. Enjoyed it with a beautiful view from the rooftop. Staff super kind and helpful if anything needed. Especially a BIG THANKS to the volunteer Akane who made os feel extra comfortable and really cared for us and the other guests🙏🙏🙏

Une très jolie hostel! Ce qui la démarque c’est le Personnel, on se croit comme avec des amis avec eux! Un grand merci à Akane et Flore, elles ont été super aidante comme volontaire! On se sent comme à la maison, même s’il n’y a pas vraiment d’activités organisées pour parler aux autres voyageurs, l’hostel est petite pour rencontrer les autres. Seul défaut l’air climatisée: elle est en marche, mais pas assez froide que je suais dans mon lit en haut. Il faudrait penser �...

Väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam personal!! Rummen var relativt rymliga, rena och bekväma sängar. Vi fick hjälp med att boka tours via hostellet vilket var väldigt trevligt! Volontärerna var så snälla och sociala. Natalia är supertrevlig och hjälpte oss med lokalbussar och tips om vad vi kan göra i La fortuna och hur vi kan ta oss runt i landet!! Även Akane var mycket trevlig och visade oss sengångare som bodde i ett träd intill hostellet!! Rekommenderar.
