Super clean and organized. Great staff. 4 blocks to downtown. We stayed in a private room with shared bathroom. The bedroom was not large but a shared are was very large.

De bedden zijn comfortabel en fijn dat er yoga matjes ter beschikking zijn. Ook de laundry service is in orde. Verder is er weinig sfeer in dit hostel en over het algemeen is dit hostel niet zo hygiënisch. Ik zou hier niet terug komen.
No hot water the whole time and the WiFi didn’t reach the rooms. There was also ants infesting the kitchen, but other than that it was pretty okay
Great hosts and affordable options for excursions etc. 5 min walk to La Fortuna centre. Easy bus-boat-bus for onward travel to Monteverde. Very quiet in the hostel itself, but we are off season
We enjoyed meeting cool people and having warm showers. We had a surprise fumigation (for mosquitoes) part way through our stay that was not communicated well. The lock to our semi-private room was easy to open without the key - just bang on the doorknob a certain way to pop it open. The kitchen was well equipped. For people who are non-smokers, the common sitting area upstairs may not be for you. If you want a good view of a volcano, wake up early and go to the second level.
Cette auberge est géniale (si on ne vient pas avec l'idée de faire la fiesta ;)) Le personnel te donne plein de conseils que tu me trouveras pas ailleurs (notamment pour les petits budgets!!!). La cuisine est super bien équipée et très spacieuse, top pour sociabilisé en cuisinant ^^
Une très belle auberge de jeunesse avec un personnel accueillant. Les chambres sont propres et climatisées, un bon point. Manque de savoir vivre pour certaines personnes qui se sert dans notre nourriture…
A great hostel with very friendly and helpful staff. They can book tours for you or just give you advice and recommendations. Good kitchen, dorms, common areas. It has a view of Arenal volcano, which is lovely during sunset. 5-10 min walk into the town, supermarket, bus station, etc.

Localisation pas idéal (10min à pied du centre) mais prix en dessous donc ça compense bien. Pour les excursions vous allez sûrement prendre un EasyHop donc pas si gênant que ça. Accueil super, personnel très sympathique et donne plein de conseils. Dortoir avec climatisation. Ambiance calme

Good hostel to enjoy La Fortuna and everything around. One of the cheapest options in town and it’s more than great, the shared kitchen is one of the most well equipped, shared area upstairs with couch and tv is nice, lots of options of activities and excursions for the volcano, lake, forest… you can walk to the river in 15minutes. Helpful staff! Good place.
Agradecemos que nos recibieron muy tarde y que la persona de la limpieza fue muy amable. Solo faltó la papel higiénico, lo demás todo bien
The hostel itself is really good for the basics - it’s got a great kitchen, nice social area, the aircon in the room worked well so good value for money. Down side is staff are rarely there even during the 6hr window when reception is open. The top bunks are pretty treacherous too.

Très bon hostel avec une cuisine commune très bien équipée Un salon avec télévision Chambre propre, nous avons eu la chance d’avoir un dortoir de 2 lits avec mon ami. Un peu loin du centre ville, supermarché à quelques minutes à pied
