Valle Verde

The hostel was very peaceful. We were almost the only people there which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Beautiful scenery looking at the mountains surrounding you. It had plenty of space to relax and chill out (inside and outside). It had a ping pong table and pool table. We didn’t use it but the kitchen was quite small/basic but you could still easily cook what you wanted to. The beds were comfy and clean. We just stayed a week at Valle Verde Hostel – and how time can fly! Big thanks to Berta, Jonathan and Basil for making us feel home from the very start and for making the place clean, cozy and comfortable. We really enjoyed spending time in the hostel, playing ping pong and pool, reading, drawing and I even learned to juggle three balls. We highly recommend hiking the neighbouring mountain for a view of the Sacred Valley, and watching the evening sun shed light on the surroundings.

Valle Verde war ein super Ort um schön zu entspannen. Das Personal war unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit und hat uns bei der Planung vom Salkantay sehr geholfen. Es war eine sehr herzliche Atmosphäre. Das Hostel war ruhig und etwas abgelegen, was jedoch kein Problem war. Es gab Tischtennis und einen Billardtisch (dem fehlen leider gute Queues). Wir hatten ein Privat mit einem super Whirlpool. Wir würden jeder Zeit wieder kommen 😊

man muss ein bisschen bis ins Stadtzentrum laufen aber es lohnt sich. super gemütliches Hostel mit viel Platz zum gemeinsamen Chillen mit anderen Gästen. Es gibt regelmäßig köstlichen selbstgebackenen Kuchen für nur 2 Soles pro Stück ❤️

Very nice, extremely clean place. A little out of the way and the staff knows little about things to do in the area. Would recommend if you are looking to navigate on your own.

Best hostel in Peru

Calm hostel with comfy beds. not super busy/easy to socialise but nice place to hang out. A bit far from the town (20‘ walk to main plaza)

I felt really well in Valle Verde. A big, quite and well organized placre where i could rest. I was well received!

I stayed for 3 nights and it’s perfect for people with a budget. The price is really good, but don’t expect some kind of luxury of course. You can just chill there and rest little bit from your travels. They also offer a massage for 60 soles, which is really great!

Una experiencia única, la gente q labora en el lugar es muy amable , el lugar tiene muchos espacios para poder jugar billar ,ping pong . Buen ambiente

Tenia miedo de hacer la reserva por los comentarios que había leido, pero me di con la sorpresa que es todo lo contrario, baños limpios, agua caliente funciona bien, además que el ambiente es muy acogedor, mucha naturaleza alrededor

ambiente agradable con paisajes hermosos vista a los apus desayuno riquísimo a la hora Sebas un chico atento el personal muy amable espacios de juegos muy limpios y con música para disfrutar el día y pasarlo en familia con los engreídos de casa un lugar fuera de casa 🏡 muy agocedor lo recomiendo

O was the only one there. Seemed like a lot of the place wasn’t in use. Included breakfast was very disappointing.

One of my favorite hostels in Peru so far. Very clean ans quiet. This hostel is not very busy. There were only a couple other travelers there during my stay, which makes it a great place to get some sleep.

I don’t know why so many complaints about the cleanliness. It was fine, the staff was nice the space was big with a lot of common area to hang out. The only thing is it was like 15-20 minute walk to the center or a 2 minute moto taxi for 2 soles. Really not that bad, and by far the cheapest hostel in urubamba so definitely worth it if you’re on a budget.

El mayor problema del hostel es que es muy sucio, no se desde hace cuánto tiempo dejaron de tener esto como un punto importante, las habitaciones están sucias, los espacios comunes también, los sillones están manchados y claramente sucios, el comedor te recibe con mesas cochinas que no te dan ganas de desayunar. La cocina compartida es la misma historia. Mis amigos y yo tuvimos que dejar el lugar 2 días antes pues no nos gustó nada. No lo recomiendo.

Encontré el hostel sucio, y el mobiliario en mal estado. Habían telarañas en las habitaciones y la luz de mi baño no encendía. En un momento de la madrugada mientras trabajaba, se fue la luz por completo y ya no tuve internet. Tuvimos que retirarnos antes porque no fue un lugar agradable para quedarnos.

The people were really kind to us. Quiet location, very relaxing. The mountains are so beautiful there and the bed was really comfortable. The shower did not have warm water, but that´s okay. Muchas gracias a todo el equipo!

Watch out, bed bugs in the big dorm!! Hostel is pretty far from the main town, about a 15/20 min walk. Staff threw a party one of the nights I was there, DJ wound it down about 7am and I woke up to two people (not guests at the hostel) making out in one of the bunks. Would not recommend to a friend.
