Bromo Camp & Dormitory

This hostel is in a good spot, has tours that will get you to Bromo. The private rooms are really mininal though, with a small piece of wood between you and your neighbour. I was able to listen to a French couple watching a French TV show, followed by monkey noises and hysterical laughing. Shower was also 29 degrees; technically hot I guess, a bit like how tomato is a fruit.

LOVE the staff that was my favourite part, shoutout Tanto 🫶 downstairs bathroom was questionable but other than that it was awesome. View was incredible

Very nice hostel and the location is really beautiful in an alpine area. Nice modern rooms, clean bathroom and room. Bunks have curtains and there are lockers with padlocks, but the dorm door doesn’t have a lock. There’s a small food menu available, and free tea and water refill. Tricky to get to, it isn’t an option via Grab as the road is rough for normal cars, I’d recommend arranging a pickup from them in advance :) and the bromo tour was easy to arrange when I arrived. Best hostel in Sukapura and also for doing Bromo Tour Easily. Everyone is very friendly and the guy, Alif just saved me at last. Really recommend this hostel for a sweet sleep

Loved my stay here to hike up to Bromo. Reception gave us so many tips and options for transport, tours/independent exploring and made our stay so much better. Would really recommend. Was a bit quiet due to low season, but they have tours coming in every day, so there's always someone around 😊 Lovely location in the mountains!!

This is a lovely place to stay to get a little break from the busy city life. It's a bit higher in altitude, so it's cooler as well. The staff are so kind and helpfull, and the beds are super comfy. The silence from 9 to 7 is nice too, as many people spend the night there to visit Mt. Bromo (since you're practically halfway there). Loved staying here, wish the weather was a little better so I could have chilled in the hangmats 🥰❤️🌸🙏🏻

Leuk hostel op een bijzondere plek. Middenin de natuur tussen de bergen. Fijne buitenplaats om na je activiteit te chillen en anderen te ontmoeten. Ze hebben zowel ontbijt als diner. Goede uitvalsbasis voor de Bromo tour. Ze bieden tevens de IJen Tour aan, zeker een aanrader!

Mein erstes Mal in einem Hostel & es war super. Alles sauber. Jedes Bett hatte ein eigenes Fenster.

Auberge très propre et bien équipée ! Les hôtes sont très accueillants et il est possible de manger sur place de très bons plats. Petit inconvénient, si vous voulez faire l’ascension par vous même, il n’est pas évident de se rendre au point de départ seul (il y a peu de taxi dans le coin) mais vous pouvez toujours louer un scooter à l’hostel. Je recommande

Lage mitten im Wald super. Personal war nicht sonderlich nett und die Einrichtungen waren etwas heruntergekommen. jeden Tag kommt eine neue Touristengruppe die die sunrisetour macht. war ein paar Nächte da. würde nicht mehr als eine Nacht dort verbringen.

Nice hostel on the way to Bromo and perfect to rest after the hike. Really peaceful location. Rented a scooter from Problinggo and did it all in my own!

Super spot, l'hôte est accueillant, sympathique, à l'écoute... Le lieux est paisible, la literie confortable, de l'eau chaude, les sanitaires fonctionnels... Un petit bémol pour l'absence d'une fontaine d'eau mais vu qu'on s'est régalé à table... Une fois qu'on le sait on anticipe 😁

Génial pour gravir le mont Bromo ! Pratique et et agréable, au fin fond de la montagne. Les repas sont peu onéreux et très bon.
