HALF Coffee N Dorm

Very cute little hostel, it's out of the main city areas which is a nice change up from District 1 but does mean it's a bit of a travel to all the main areas. No social aspect at all but nice and chill if you want some alone time, especially with the cats :)

Nice small hostel in a more local part of town, the family that runs it is super nice. House cats and dog are super cute. No really social aspect to it but nice breakfast in the morning and rooftop patio to chill on.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr gut gelegen in einer kleinen Seitengasse. In der Nähe befinden sich viele Restaurants. Das Personal war sehr lieb und hat sogar ein Problem im Bad ohne Probleme gelöst. Am besten waren die beiden Katzen und der süße Shiba Inu. :) Die Betten waren sehr gemütlich und man hatte einen kleinen Schrank zum Verstauen. Kleine Info: Autos können nicht in die kleine Gasse fahren!

Love the concept of the hostel with the pets, staff was nice and bed was comfy. However, the bathroom was unfortunately quite dirty and not cleaned (just vacuumed) during the stay. I love cats, so I just found it funny that the white cat knows how to open doors and sleeps on the bottom beds. But might be good to know in advance in case you’re not a cat lover or allergic.

Es gibt nichts anzumerken, nur die Zimmer könnten etwas größer sein :) - sehr kleines Hostel in dem man sich sofort wohl fühlt - angenehme Atmosphäre - sehr bequeme Betten - super freundliches Personal - süße Haustiere - sehr gute Lage: nicht direkt im District 1, aber trotzdem zentral (ca. 8min mit dem Roller, zu Fuß 35min) - alles ist sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet Sehr zu empfehlen!

If you're looking for a nice stay in an interesting neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle of D1 in Saigon, this is the place. A comfy bed, not many people around given there are only a couple of rooms, but I found the cafe below to be a super social meeting point to hang out. Coffee is also fantastic. The staff (thanks Albert, Coco and Bach!) are all wonderful too. Last mention is for the two cats and dog keeping you company in the cafe!

I had some wonderful days at this place. Both because of the hostel and the people who works there and people I met there, but also because of the location. It’s a nice area in HCM. This is not a party hostel. I felt everyone respect the rules and think of other people, and you can get a good night of sleep. 10/10 experience at this place.

This is the perfect place if you want a cosy and relax environment in the crowded city. The location is in a quiet alley but not far from conveniences. The cafe downstairs is a plus for a nice atmosphere as a common area to hang out with the other guests. The staff is welcoming, friendly and helpul. The receptionist has the best addresses in town for food and entertainment. The bed is comfortable. The mascottes, a shiba and two cats, are adorable. As a solo traveller, I recommend this place.

A lovely little hostel in a quiet street! Very close to PVC with lots of bars, coffee shops and restaurants nearby. The best part is the cats and dog! The staff are all really kind and welcoming.

I really loved this hostel! The neighborhood is lovely and you can get anywhere really easily by bus, grab or walking. The hostel felt really cozy and homey!

This place is such a gem!

The beds were very comfortable and rigid. The lockers offered much space. Location was good. The staff was very friendly and spoke anywhere from good to excellent English. They are very helpful and welcoming. The owner even invited me for some Vietnamese dinner one day. Had some very entertaining chats with one of the dudes that works there. Give that man a raise! Could be a little bit cleaner though 😁 The white cat and the dog are fun. The grey cat is just chillin all the time.

Lovely hostel, staff and location!

The bed was amazing, comfy, cozy and I had a window which was nice to look out. I stayed in the mixed and the female dorm and the bathrooms were probably the worst I’ve experienced in 3 years of traveling. It smelled like p*** and didn’t look like it was ever cleaned, toothpaste everywhere. They do have breakfast which is nice, but being downstairs in the main area there is a lot of cat hair

De mensen waren super lief en de honden en katten ook! De kamers zijn redelijk klein en mijn locker kon niet op slot, maar het was allemaal geen big deal :) verder een heel fijn verblijf gehad!

Süßes kleines Hostel mit lieben Tieren und Leuten. Super wlan, kostenloses Frühstück und bequeme Betten. Leider war das Bad nicht sauber alles andere war super.

Ich komme gerne wieder. Es war alles da und die Mitarbeiter waren super freundlich. Außerdem gibt es sehr niedliche Haustiere!🥹🫶
