Rooster Hostel

Apesar de ser uma casa mais antiga é tudo super limpo, charmoso, simpático e organizado. Banho e quartos confortáveis e cozinha completa. Quem nos recebeu foi a Lucy se não me engano, super atenciosa e simpática.

Bed bugs.

Most things were great - amazing location, cozy, well equipped (an electric kettle would be good) and mostly clean. They put me in the 6-bed dorm upstairs without proper windows. I had seen this online and made sure to book a different room since I get a little claustrophobic. I said so, but all the other rooms were booked. I promise I’m very easygoing but in this case a downgrade like that is unacceptable.

Perfectly serviceable hostel. It was clean but the beds were not very comfortable. Location is great and makes up for what it lacks.

The +'s: location, good mattress Thé -'s: no curtain in the dorm, shower and toilet in the same small room (toilet seat systematically wet after a shower), ... saw the staff only 10 min for my check-in.

La ubicación es buena, pero hay mucho ruido externo. Se escucha mucho el tráfico de los coches hasta la madrugada. Además, el colchón es muy incómodo! Es más cómodo dormir en el suelo que en ese colchón! Busca otro alojamiento si quieres descansar.

The hostess was super friendly and the location is superb! There was hardly anyone there due to being there in mid Jan, but we made the most out of it with the people who were there. Only downside was the lack of heating (there was a heater but i am unsure if it wasn't working properly or not turned on) and the fact that it was snowing. Next to that: would definitely stay again

Brilliant location just a short walk from the main attractions. Fully functioning kitchen with a big table in the main communal area. Clothes airer for washing. If you want a quiet laid back hostel this is for you.

Great little hostel, perfect location, chilled atmosphere. Really appreciated the free washing machine. Lucy was absolutely brilliant at answering all my questions, helping me work out what to do with my night-train to Turkey, and just generally being wonderful. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place, I could do my laundry there. Beds were comfortable and I was able to meet other travellers.

Hostel was ok, kind of felt like everybody was doing their own thing. Location is very nice though, but one of the bathrooms was very dirty for my entire stay of 2 days, felt like it wasn't being cleaned all the time. Maybe i just had bad luck though.

Super hostel met een geweldige sfeer! Alles was schoon en netjes. Een groot pluspunt is de gratis wasmachine. Het enige wat ik een beetje miste was een groter kluisje voor eventueel rugzak, maar er zijn wel kleinere kluisjes voor persoonlijke spullen.

The hostel is great, amazing atmosphere and very helpful staff. It was clean check-in and check-out was very easy. Security gets only 4/5 because for the dorms there were lockers, but they are quite small and wouldnt fit my bag, so i had to take out my valuables and put them individually.

It was very quiet in the hostel and without present staff, it felt inconvenient.

The hirl who made my check in was very helpful

Beutifull hostel in the old town with everything you need.

Sadly the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on… the springs in the mattress poked at me and made the bed lumpy no matter how I positioned myself. It also sadly didn’t have a bottom sheet when I arrived but they thankfully had a bag with clean sheets down in the lobby so I just made the bed myself. Great location thought, nice staff. But had to double book another stay for the next night bc of the bed situation.

Wonderful place and was perfect for our stay, I will be coming back no doubt!:))
