I traveled from Istanbul to Cappadocia for a weekend trip, and while comparing prices and guest reviews, I found Hotel Philosophia to be a great option. The price was reasonable, and what really stood out was how kind and welcoming the staff and the manager were. I stayed there for two nights, and honestly, it became one of the best travel and accommodation experiences I’ve had in Turkey.

I had a wonderful time in Cappadocia. The owner, Kamil is a very kind and friendly person, and he made my stay really comfortable. If you are planning to stay in Cappadocia for a long time, I truly recommend this hostel. It feels like home and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Teşekkürler🩷🧿 Also, you should definitely try the nearby restaurant KAKTÜS CAFE & RESTAURANT. You can enjoy delicious homemade Turkish food there.

It is a very cool looking place that Kamil, the owner, built over the years. He’s very relaxed and fun to talk with and has a lot of experience travelling himself, which makes him a great host. It was not busy at all as it’s the off season and there was quite a bit of snow everywhere so not the best time to visit beautiful Cappadocia, but the vibe of the place is really good. We had a bonfire before the snow came, which was nice. I would definitely go there again.

Partiamo dal fatto che tutte e 3 le strutture che ho provato in Turchia non meritano il numero di stelle nelle recensioni che gli viene dato. Il problema però sono gli spazi comuni qualunque ostello in Italia offre una cucina dove ogni cliente può cucinare e un posto caldo dove mangiare. Qui la cucina non è c'è e d'inverno non c'è neanche uno spazio dove poter mangiare qualcosa al caldo... Perché i tavolini che ci sono all'esterno sono utilizzabili solo in primavera/estate ma non a d...

Hermoso hostel, totalmente recomendado. Solo pase dos noches pero me dejo una muy buena impresión.

Nice kitchen to cook, great communal area to visit... they had a fire 🔥 pit going last night. Also rooms are modern & beds are comfortable.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Hot showers very clean room and a very good price! The staff was very nice and Informative. I will definitely be coming back

Tolle Unterkunft, total lieber Gastgeber & in Summe eine super Unterkunft in Kappadokien! :) Leider war die Heizung gelegentlich defekt, sonst ein perfekter Aufenthalt!

Great experience at the hotel philosophia! Lovely people, lovely place, super nice and clean room. Location is great as slightly outside the touristic centre with noise and expensive restaurants. We recommend this hotel !

nicest room and comfiest bed ive slept in after 7 months of travel. rooms are shared rather than dormitory style. amazing location, lots of chill out spots around the hostel/balconies too. lockers for valuables would be nice though!

性價比蠻高的，還有廚房可以自己煮東西。不過房間被分配到小木屋實在是很冷，而且浴室跟廁所都要走到屋外才能上。

Everything was fantastic. Specifically Kamil the Jesus and Cheema. They both guys are very cooperative and the environment is very good and friendly. Will definitely visit them again….

Had a great time at Philosophia! Dogukan and the rest of the staff made sure we had the best experiences with great breakfast and recommendations! 10 minute walk from the bus to Goreme. Super friendly hostel, very clean and modern traditional rooms!

I only spent the night there after my flight. Was put in a hut which was super cold as it had holes in the walls. Theres a mosque right next to the hostel which kept me up at 5am also the dogs woke me up at 3am as they were fighting. At 7am there was also a lot of noise as if they were lighting fire. Toilet was below average. Personally wouldn’t stay here again

Très bonne auberge. Attention il n’y a pas de bus locaux pour se déplacer dans les autres villes. Très bonne chambre, petit bémol, il y manque une poubelle. J’y retourne bien sûr en cas de retour dans la région ! Foncez !
