Best hostel I’ve stayed in Australia. Staff is very friendly, the location is right on the beach and there’s lots of events going on everyday!

Perfect location, perfect service, perfect facilities for an east coast stop over. All the staff were really lovely and everything is cleaned regularly. Cheap drinks, right on the beach, highly recommend

Loved this hostel so much! The staff were super friendly and helpful. Such a gorgeous location- it literally feels like you’re in a tropical paradise. It’s a very social hostel with lots of events going on. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Since i have been in Australia i stayed in many hostels and Nomads on Magnetic Island is by far one of the best ones. Its located directly on the ocean what makes it truly amazing. It is literally a little village on a tropical island. U can see Wallabys an Koalas all the time. The property is clean with plenty of space and a nice pool. I usually dont write feedbacks, but on this hostel i had to. 10 out of 10

The staff where very friendly and happy to help with anything. The food was also very nice and at a good value for money

Nice rooms and the food & coffee there is really good but the showers weren’t great and the toilets were nearly always clogged. WiFi is bad but that’s expected on an island

Your experience will definitely depend on whether you get one of the renovated rooms or the old ones. We had no curtains and had a lizard and many spiders, but other people we knew had such nice rooms. But otherwise everything else about this hostel is perfect from the staff, to the events and facilities.

Location was good. But it’s just the bare minimum. We paid £80 each for 2 nights. Our rooms were shocking. The beds weren’t stable, rusting, not clean. The kitchen was even worse. A complete mess. I don’t have high expectations for hostels however this was terrible considering the price point as well. If it was half the price then absolutely fair enough.

Overall vibe of the stay was fun. But I just couldn’t get past the cleanliness of the bathrooms. Every surface was wet and shower floors were dirty. No door so lots of bugs and creatures came inside. The rooms were very basic, nothing but the metal beds, one main light, and all the plugs were on one side of the room. The kitchen was tiny, not enough cutlery/plates and again every surface was either wet or dirty. The main building/reception/social areas were good and seemed to have lots of even...

I really enjoyed this hostel. It was the cheapest on Magnetic island, but certainly over budget for me! It's absolutely a party hostel, which can be fun if that's your kind of thing. The happy hour deals are great, $7 cocktails as well as a free one when you arrive. Good events in the evenings. The pool was lovely. They upgraded me to a private room, just because it was available. The room was so nice with the best view. Staff was nice and the vibe of the hostel in general was great. Would 100% recommend.

Food at the bar wasn’t the greatest but there was a fully equity kitchen. Rooms are basic but loved the vibes

Nomads Magnetic Island hat eine sehr schöne Lage direkt am Wasser und hat einen schönen Aufbau mit einzelnen Hütten, Pool und Restaurant/Bar. Es werden viele Aktivitäten angeboten. Das Zimmer war schlicht und ohne Schließfach. Außerdem gab es keine Steckdose an jedem Bett, wir hatten einen Mehrfachstecker an einem Ende des Zimmers. Die Stimmung in dem Hostel war sehr gut und sozial. Bushaltestelle ist auch direkt am Hostel.

Richtig cooler Vibe. Jeden Abend Party an der Bar mit Bands oder DJs. Lage ist cool - direkt am Meer und mit Pool. Aber halt total abgeschnitten. Der Bus fährt nur jede Stunde und es gibt keinen Supermarkt, dafür ist das Essen im Hostel aber gut. In die Hütten kommen leicht mal Tiere rein und auch auf den Toiletten waren Kakerlaken.

Rooms are cozy, beds comfortable and clean. Location is great, right on the beach. Bar is exactly what a hostel bar should be. Cheap drinks, fun events every night a great host and equally amazing bar staff. Food is delicious would highly recommend breakfast. 10/10 would stay again.
