I liked the quirky place. Close to everything especially metro. Done japanese style . Well ventilated no mould.
Great hostel and super handy location for buses and the MRT. Lovely staff and the cafe downstairs is super handy.
This is a good solid hostel in the leafier northern part of Taipei next to Expo Park. Its best feature is plentiful space with a couple of large common areas including one on the top floor with a microwave and fridge. Facilities and Wi-Fi are excellent It's quite well-loved which is always a good sign and typical of the Taiwanese attitude to hospitality generally. Taipei is a fairly pleasant city in a lovely country, and this hostel is a fine base from which to explore it all. Thank you.
Great hostel, very clean, comfortable, locker for belongings that unlocks with key card, more than enough bathrooms. Above a cute cafe, good atmosphere, quiet. Nice common room, good view of the city and mountains. Laundry area. Not much of a kitchen but enough to make do.
Modern and clean hostel. Nice cafe downstairs with a friendly cat. Nice and helpful staff. No social atmosphere.
Well equipped with an electronic locker and hairdryer. Common room a bit small to accommodate those who want to socialise and those who want to spend time alone. There’s no strong atmosphere for social interactions. But overall it’s quite clean and cheap
This was my 3 days stayed at Corner Hostel. Overall are good, location wise, the price, security, it just that they don't have permanent staff available. The rest are all good. And they allowed us to leave our baggage up to 6.00pm. Also would like to compliment one of the staff there as she allowed me to take shower after check out (around 5pm).
I have stayed in two other hostels in Taipei and I think this may be my favorite. I really liked the location. It felts safe at night, there were places to eat, and little coffee shops to chill at. It's right near the red line making it really easy to come and go throughout Taipei, plus near a lot of bus stops. The hostel itself seemed clean and staff were mostly welcoming and nice. My only complaint is the the bunks squeaked whenever someone moved, making it hard to nod off.
On my arrive I found a cat in the coffe shop at the Botton where there aren't not door to the hostel one of the shower smelling common area have Aircon off most of the time
This hostel is was very comfortable and was easy to settle into without feeling too uncomfortable. The hostel staff were very efficient and they were able to answer a lot of my questions. The coffee shop attached to it is very nice and you get a discount for being a guest. It was very very very clean and the staff was very diligent in keeping it that way. Overall i thought this was a nice hostel and I would stay here again.
All in all it was an acceptable stay. But my bed was right beside (i guess the whole houses AC) and it was unbelievable noisy!
The staff is really friendly, they helped me with all kinds of tourist questions. The hostel is clean and the aircondition in the dorms saved my life :D the atmosphere is kind of distanced, guests don’t say hello, zero interaction. As a solo traveler I wished for more options to get together, but apart from that I liked the stay :) The cafe downstairs in the café tastes amazing!
I really recommend this Hostel! Rooms are good; beds are confortable and there is enough space for luggage. Bathrooms are clean. The staff is great! So is location (near to the Metro Station of Yuanshan). There is a Supermarkt and a 7/11 about 10 min walking from the Hostel. The lobby upstairs is cool to chill and meet people.
This place had the loveliest, coziest vibes with the cafe downstairs and the cats! Loved hanging out here, staff were very nice too. It’s right on the metro line which was very handy and provided relatively easy access to the airport, train station, night markets, attractions etc. Really enjoyed my stay.
Lovely staff. I felt everything is lovely. Full stop❤️
Lovely! Not social at all, but from what I’ve gathered, I don’t know if you can get social vibes from a hostel in Taipei. Super clean, they also have lovely cats, great location. Sad to leave :)
I loved corner hostel. The location is perfect right next to bus and train station. Easy access to the entire city. I felt safe coming and going. There was lots of light and air. Easy to do laundry. Nice communal space and a neighborhood cafe. I would stay there again
Lovely hostel, with a relaxed and friendly vibe. Awesome rooftop area for chilling and eating your meals. Convenient location and quick walk to the train station. Overall really nice stay and will definitely come back!
Nice quite stay in the midddle of the city
Really close to the metro, very quiet and clean! Staff was very helpful as well.
