Taiwan Youth Hostel & Capsule Hotel

Overall, a nice stay. There were minor language barriers with some staff, but they were all kind and eager to help. It was not a social hostel, but there were lots of common areas. The biggest pro was free snacks, toast for breakfast, and a cappuccino machine. The hostel was well located, as it was steps away from the main station. The pods were nice but not very large and the beds were uncomfortable. A nice touch was that LED lights lined the dorm so everyone coming in late was able to see.

capsule was spacious and room had a luggage storage area plus a locker as the headboard. Bathrooms were clean, luggage storage after checkout was easy as well.

Helpful staff, Joe in particular. Location, facilities and room all of great quality. Highly recommended.

Though I stayed only one night, I could see myself hanging around longer. Superb location, well-appointed amenities, and spotless clean; the design guarantees a restful night. Opted for a 4-bed dorm, I was surprised by the cozy double bed capsule within a cubicle, offering privacy and comfort. Staff seemed friendly and helpful. The air-con inside cubicle area was a bit excessive, tbut hat's my only complaint. While lacking in international traveler ambiance, it remains a good choice.

It's definitely more of a capsule hotel and less of a hostel, but the facilities are all great, it's clean and quiet and very, very, very conveniently located by the main train station. I'm not sure it's worth the price, but it was definitely a nice place to stay.

Great! I did arrive at midnight because of my flight and it was great for a first night because of the location. There is a bit of nose because of the air conditioning but everything is great otherwise, the service is excellent!

beds are good, plenty of space and privacy. not sure if it was just when I was there, but there was zero atmosphere. mostly locals and not great for solo travellers. Also they didn't have lockers. Really good location next to Taipei Main station.

lovely capsule hostel in Taipei

I had a short 24 hour layover in Taipei and couldn't have picked a better place for the night. I was happy to find a hotel with a 24-hour reception desk - which made checking in around 12 AM a breeze. The area also felt safe even late at night. The staff were very friendly, and the double room I booked was perfectly comfortable! I wish I had more time in Taipei to take advantage of the amenities. The location is also close to Ximending and other attractions!

I would say they do a little less community activities than they advertise as nothing happened while I was there, but it could have just been slow season as I didn’t see much other guest in general. Otherwise a wonderful experience !

Greay value stay, I had a private room which was quite big and very comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and shared facilities clean and useful. Fantastic location and great value, I would highly recommend

The location is a bit of a walk to any of the popular destinations and for food, but still a good location. Security to the rooms are amazing (you have to pass through 2 security doors. Then, inside your capsule, that area behind your pillow, there is a cool and HUGE security storage that only unlocks when you have your keycard in the capsule's keycard slot. Staff and residents were pretty friendly. Only noise issue I have is that the door to the capsule rooms are really loud and since it's open...

Great location. Super clean. However, they do reserve the full due amount on your card, but when you check in you still have to pay. They don’t seem to cancel the transaction so now I have to wait for over a month until I get that back.

Great place to stay. Facilities are very clean and modern and it's very close to Taipei Main Station.

Very nice location and you can find night food easily nearby. With a music performance/busking area and nice bed for sleeping.

Perfect location and great ambiance. Only stayed here one night (which is a great place to do so) so didn’t see a lot of camaraderie or events like advertised, but it was just the timing. Would stay here again!

This is the best hostel in the city. I would stay here again if I return to Taipei. Location is insanely convenient - under 3 minutes to the Taipei Main Station (which has connections to every type of public transport). It also has a 24-hour convenience store with an ATM next door. There’s also a lot of shops and places to eat in the immediate area. The hostel itself is super clean, especially the toilets. The pods are cozy and offer enough privacy.
