Life is like a BOX of Chocolates

We stayed there for 3 nights - the hostel and its equipmet is quiet old now (the showers are very moldy). The owner Nikita is very nice and friendly but she‘s never there. If you have questions, you meed to write an email. The response time is very fast though.

A small, homey hostel in a great location! The rooms are small, but quiet, with cozy beds and good AC. The common area is great for relaxing and meeting people, and the kitchen is VERY well stocked. The whole place is very clean. Nikita, the host, really cares about the place and the guests. The location is excellent, a few steps from the metro entrance.

Felt like I don’t really get what I’ve paid for. The Hostel staff is hard to reach, so check in is pretty unpredictable. (Been standing in front of the door a couple of times, but there was no one opening me). I even tried to call her multiple times. Second thing is that the mattress was a bit uncomfortable, you could feel every spring. The price is really high for what is included, you even need to clean and pull off the sheets when you leave by yourself.

The hostel is in a good location. It was clean with a nice atmosphere. The only problem that we had was leaving our bags at the hostel on our check out day. The host seemed annoyed at us when we went to pick up our bags and really made us feel uncomfortable even though this is a standard practice at any other hostel that we have stayed at!

Nikita is so friendly and helpful! Location is convenient to MRT and there are interesting neighborhoods to walk around nearby. The dorm room is extremely small -- there's not enough room for everyone to stand up at the same time! We had to dance around each other when getting ready for bed. The mattresses were also very uncomfortable, with all of the springs right at the surface.

Good and clean hostel in front of the metro station. Easy to go anywhere in Taipei.

位置所在非常好，就在捷運站旁邊，交通方便。周邊也很多餐廳。整體氛圍很輕鬆自在，就像家一樣。

Host was super friendly, gave me great recs on things to do. The room was clean and well ventilated. Very worth its price!

It’s very homey!! The hostel shares a building with other vendors, so finding it can be tricky you have to take the elevator. The dorm room can be a bit cramped if it is full, but the building has a spacious common area. The bed and pillows are fine, I slept very well.

The lady who runs it is so nice! It really makes the stay pleasant. Hostel has a common space and lots of nice touches (shampoo and soap and towel included, good coffee, lots of books). Would stay here again if I come back to Taipei! Only thing to know is that the beds are touching so I felt someone rubbing my arm in my sleep and it was my neighbors foot haha. But there are lockers and other space to leave bags so small room is not a big deal.

無法推薦此間旅舍，原因有以下： 1.總是找不到工作人員，入住時是經由其他房客開門才得以進入，屋主用手機溝通如何入住，一開始無工作人員的情況還可以接受，但後來發現沐浴乳用盡、睡前發現枕頭發出霉味臭這類情況後才意識到這有多麼不方便。甚至退房時屋主也不在，使我無法知道自己是否成功退房，這真的很糟糕。 2.屋況不佳，天花板有髒污、顆粒凹凸的壁癌情...

It is in a super convenient location, the owner is very warm and kind, and the accommodations are clean and comfortable. I would stay again next time I come! :)

The staff is so nice. Here you can easily find whatever you need.

Only stayed one night, but it was a great spot

It is a very cozy place to stay, felt almost like being home! Plus, the hostel is located right next to the Guting metro station. Easy to recommend :)

Such a small room for 3 bunkbeds!

Hostel is nice and clean, common space area is social, the staff is really nice and friendly! But rooms are way to small..

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at (30+)! The hostel’s atmosphere was really cozy and felt like a home away from home. The owner is really friendly and takes pride in the hostel! Beds and facilities were very clean and a place I wouldn’t mind spending a day-in in! Wish I booked more nights here! Will definitely be back when I’m in Taipei again!

nice place for an extended stay. the wi-fi is pretty bad and unreliable.
