May Rooms Taipei Nangang Station

Everyone! This hostel is amazing in Taipei with the cutesiest cats, the most friendly owners, bunch of ideas to explore Taipei, and super comfortable beds. I can tell that the hostel is aged, but it is really well maintained. One of owners doesn’t speak much English but really friendly, and the other is so easy to communicate. The best part of it is its location, only 10 minutes walk from train, MRT, HSR station. And there is one bus stop just in front of the store, making it easy to get aroun...

A great location and well equipped with what most backpackers would need. Staff were helpful and friendly. Not many people there to socialise with and some families but that seems fairly common of Taiwanese hostels. The main common area is nicely designed for hanging out but you can what whatever is going on there from the bedroom (not much). They provide free earplugs if this is a problem. I will stay here again when I pass through Taipei.

It’s near the nanang train station but not as much to do and explore on this part of town. It is the slow season so that’s a factor as well. Friendly owner and restaurants nearby.

Okay for maybe 2 nights, the facilities are poor as they are located outside and there’s mosquitos, also the rooms get very warm esp when there’s loads of people in sleeping and poor ventilation, the staff are super lovely,

Great location near the Nangan Station. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. I asked them about laundry, she walked me up to show me where the washer was. It was in use, so she said she would was my clothes when it was open so I could go explore the city. I came back to them washed and dried! Cannot recommend this hostel enough

Really liked this hostel. Allowed me to leave my bike for a night (have fun carrying it up the stairs though) and my bags for 2 weeks while I cycled. The staff are so lovely and helpful. Less than 10 min walk to the train station
